I had a leve auto-abort on me today with plenty of time left. Not really sure what happened... The thing just quit on me mid-fight and all monsters despawned.

An Iron Lake 40 leve had elementals chasing us almost past the camp site. The elemental just stayed at the Camp Iron Lake without going back to its territory.

I crash constantly at Grid. Especially near the junction at 6,5.

As mentioned previously, the can't-do-anything glitch where you need to go to passive mode to reset itself.

Changing action bars from 1 to 2/3 is pretty glitchy. Most of the time I can do it through the arrow keys, but sometimes it'll just hang.

I accidentally click the status icons on top sometimes, and I have to manually escape-key out before I can do anything.

You can get sp/xp for not doing anything while in pt... This has got to be a joke right?

Did r30 leve "Where the Goat Goes" at Cedarwood.

The leve enemies weren't in their "Leve Mode". What I mean is that they dont have the "Note" icon beside their names and not blinking red on the mini map. They were orange just like normal enemies.

Because of this, the guardian favour is not affecting them since it's considered "Normal" mob, not "Leve Target". In a way it's still a leve target since I;m the only one who can attack them.

I can still finished the levequest with no problem and get the rewards normally, just that wasted a Guardian Favour because of it.

Don't know if anyone else experienced this.

Same place for me 2 times... FPS remins above 30 but suddenly it goes super choppy. If you don't stop running it crashes. It was getting choppy for me propr to the patch though. But not crashing until post patch. I defraged and cleaned up my hdd's and ran a few cleaners and scans, but the problem persists. You running nvidias cards by chance? If so I have a feeling it's something to do with the latest drivers. The first beta drivers that had the SLI fix done correctly were fine, the 2 since though have gotten choppy even when FPS is high for XIV.

xp guage? What the **** happened to the rank/xp guages? I cannot for the life of me find how much I am TNL!! WTH?
Crashing non stop? I seem to be crashing non stop since the patch!! WTH??
7/10 failed synths on arrowwood arrow shafts.. rank 19 synth, I am rank 19, synth support?? WTH???
Seem to be moving even slower then before patch? Now it takes LONGER to run places, as I am a botnist and a crafter..... WTH????

There is a dedicated widget that stays on the screen for xp/sp now. You probably can't see yours because it's hidden below your resolution. Run the game in full screen and move it first before going back into windows mode.

Other people have reported (myself included) the crashing issue too.

Not sure on the synthesis.

Yes, there is a movement speed issue too.

Was hoping for an emergency maintenance sooner, but we'll probably see one next week.

I never crashed after Beta nor before the Patch. Now, I'm crashing on average once a day now.

I had this issue one time in a party, fortunately none of us got killed. It happened to my ls buddy conjurer when it happened to me. What I did was go to passive mode, once back in active I was able to attack. I don't know what is going on with that. Apparently quite a few people are having this issue.

My game is crashing as well after the update has been implemented. I've never crashed before. I've had server errors, but that's it. I've only had one server error, while my game has crashed several times. Went to do leves, failed 2 out of 3 thanks to the game crashing. First time I was on the last mob I needed to kill. Second time immediately after I killed the last one. 40 minutes later I received some gil and a message that more or less said "You receive gil for a leave you didn't collect your rewards on". That had to be from the quest that I killed the last creature right before I d/c.

I have noticed that I am running slower now, though I didn't notice it right away, until my roommate mentioned how slow he was moving.

Toward the end of my playing last night, my game started getting really laggy. I don't know why, wind wasn't blowing or anything. I wasn't receiving tons of information, to account for the lag.

I also have had some issues with the targeting system not always working properly. But, I know that this is an issue that already knew about due to the update. I don't always wait for my character to target the next mob, it tends to take too long to target the next mob. Especially if you have to wait for the mob to attack you until it locks onto the mob. I just hit tab or use my mouse to target the mob. The targeting is working better imo.

Haha, so SE's counter to movement speed cheats would be to slow everyone down? That's nonsense at its most far-fetched! But wait... maybe...

Yes: it would be a fix by technicality - in fact, it's genius! It would mean that any previously-cheating players would be slowed down to 100% movement speed, and would therefore not be enhancing their movement speed beyond normal limits (of course, I'll say nothing about everyone else, who now runs like they've been hit with Graviga)! This, in a way, solves the problem...!

Although it's probably not true, such is the kind of anti-cheating solution prowess that I've come to expect from the good ol' Special Task Force! d(^_~ )

(Coming soon: an update that removes gil and items from the game, thereby eliminating RMT!)

This has happened to me at least once. Complete grey out of all abilities during a battle. Seemed it might have been triggered by using the Macro bars too quickly.

Bugs I've seen:

1) Had a DoH leve get stuck. I completed it, got the reward, but it just sat in my log. If I clicked on it I would get an empty dialog box.

2) Auto target next hostile will 20% of the time stick to the just killed mob. It's in the patch notes, easily worked around.

Ever since the update my game has been crashing a lot. Of course this happens as soon as I start a levequest right? Before this update my game hardly ever crashed, now it seems to do it every time I log in.

Every once in a while, right after I click "Log", it will look like it's about to let me start logging for about a second, but then I will be automatically disengaged. After this happens I have to choose "Log" again and then I'm able to start chopping the tree just fine. I've noticed this happening to several other Botanists I've come across as well.

It's not a major issue by any means, but it can be a tad bit annoying...

I've had this happen before. A lot actually. Only in the R30 levs in Nanawa though. The ones at Nophicas Falls worked fine.

Also, today I killed the last lev target as the timer was blinking "00". When that happened, it said I completed the lev and I noticed the timer reset back to 30 minutes. On the results screen listing my rewards, it listed time bonus as 29 minutes and some seconds. Not sure if this is normal, as I haven't paid much attention to that, but it looked like the timer reset back to 30 and it gave me credit for finishing the lev in less than a minute.... Maybe a glitch, maybe not. Has it happened to anybody else?

I did the 20 leve of fishing of Limsa where you fish up the 3 blowfish, yesterday. I spent 15 minutes and never hook one. Before the update I finished this all under 10 minutes. the was the final nail of a coffin for me and I quit the game. I'm going back to a casual game.

A 30min leve takes 30mins to complete?

guard didnt work last night so i had to re log to make it work again.

sometimes i cant hit the mob so i have to go passive mode then hit it again.

Seriously, I've done the Mahogany Waterwheels quest and gotten the 3 unknotted mahogany logs in my first 3 chops.

Should I quit the game since I have not completed this leve in less than 5 minutes since?

Is foresight broken? I don't recall it replenishing your HP by the amount you partially parry for before the update.

i am having the same problem, get about 5-10 mins gameplay then i get kicked, tried reseting PC and router but nothings working!!

looks like im going to have to wait for some maintenance to be done >.<

You do know you what you catch is more dependent on the bait you use and the depth that you fish at, right? The info about that is in the huge comprehensive update details on lodestone.

What truth? The update was a huge improvement...you being ignorant about it doesn't change anything.

I have a new bug to report.

While getting my carpenter leve's in Gridania I pick the "Restocking the Stockade" it's a r30 leve. as well as 3 other r20 leve's. I always do the highest rank last, and this time was no different. After I click Requested Items button, and pick the local leve "Restocking the Stockade" and click the Commence button. Like normal I go back to the previous screen. now here is where the bug comes into play. I am now faced with no items to work with, and the Requested Items is now changed with "Normal ..." ( I dont know if that part is new, since it never happened before, I never payed attention to it.)

I decide that may be I have to go to the camp Crimson Bark to pick up the items (Glad we have an hour worth of synth support now) but I get the same thing. V'olhmyn still wants her Teak Planks before she decides weather or not to give me marks ><;. I have tried going at it in the buff, changing gear nothing works.

This is the second leve related bug I have come across, and it's getting annoying. I hope when the leves reset in a few hours everything will work it's self out.

ive been disconected 3 times in the last 2 hours, its ******* me right off.
ive got a completed leve still in my journal, when i click it its just black.
every 5 or so fights, my character stops fighting and wont do anything, i have to put my weapons away then take them out again.

i am currently having the same issue as you did...stuck with this "Planks Aplenty" leve where the item won`t show(yep , the same "teak log") after i have confirmed the recipe but i knew that i had reiceved the mat from the adv guild b4 hand ...now i can`t finish it and wil stuck with 7 new leve even after the leve timer have reseted =(

Return to passive mode and re-engage the mob will solve that.

This is probably one of the more confounding ninja fix/broken coding SE have done, since I know a lot of people rank Pugilist to get Second Wind. In my case though, it's a bit more weird since I now actually get less HP using it on my R32 Pugilist (295HP as opposed to 356HP pre-patch,) but still get the same amount on my lower DoW classes (190-210HP on R18 MRD, GLA + ARC.)

Although, Square did mention that VIT and MND were adjusted, so perhaps this is why Second Wind heals less since you have less HP than before...?

I failed a leve yesterday due to the game crashing and kicking me back to the character select screen. I really didn't want to log in today because I knew the game would crash and I'd be ******* Anyway, here I am playing and I've failed 2 levequests tonight due to game errors of the same kind.

This wouldn't **** me off so much if I could just run back and get more leves, or just log back in and finish the one I was on.

Pre-patch: tedium
Post-patch: infuriating

and it happens again...

Just lag I know but... running into Uldah I lagged heavily and ended up running *under* the city. Could see everyone in the rooms above, and trot around without impediment. Eventually I emerged in the Weavers Guild, BEHIND the counter beside the NPCs. Pity I'm Lalafel, I had to /tell one of the people in the Guild to have a look round at the new Assistant :)

This is a problem for me as well. I have found a temporary fix.. I run to a corner, near the rocks, just outside of the Adventurers Guild, facing the wall. That seems to quickly populate the entire area with all the PCs and NPCs, and then when I turn around, they are all there.

This has happened to me also. It affects ALL shield Skills. Log out works, nothing else does.

I have also experienced the "nothing works" bug which is cured by going passive then active.

These two bugs are separate.
