Not sure if I'm just imagining things but I've done some crafting today after the patch and it seems the rate of Standard synth success is higher now and the rate of Quality gain on Bold synth has been reduced quite a bit. Anyone else seeing this as well?

Yeah, seems like it...

Title on that thread isn't obvious, same topic though

During the brief bit of crafting I've done so far I made a few cotton items for an LS mate and noticed what seemed like weaker quality jumps with bold...I didn't do a lot though...

I feel like this is true as well. one example, successful bold decreases durability by 10 and increases quality by 10%...this just won't do at all...

I think Standard success rate remain the same, that or maybe it's due to tool nerf that I've just failed 3 out of 60 synths on something that I've been spamming standard on for 3 levels (Oak Half mask at r31 Carpenter). Quality is noticeably harder to raise now, probably because they want us to rely on HQ mats (the +3).

No, the success rates have been increased. They said they were adjusting crafting to make it easier to succeed in general, and by all appearances they felt that just making it easier without taking something away was not what they were prepared to do
