I disconnected 3 times when doing all my town leves yesterday...

I think I DC when switching between zones (on foot).

I have never DC'd after patch installation, but movement is slow with a "lurch"effect as the program catches up to real-time.I reverted to red RO status at least 10 times while crafting and gathering.

Have you checked the graphic settings in the config since you last performed the update? They separated the "general drawing quality" and background into 2 different settings. I know when I originally started up the game I had my graphics set higher than my PC could sustain and DirectX would fail or the game would crash/kick me. After performing some tweaks it runs smoothly now. So make sure your settings aren't pushing your computer into doing more than it can reasonably handle. However, it is possible, that the new way they distributed server load could have created problem areas in other zones of the game, but I know little about how that works so I'll leave it to the experts. As far as network issues, I couldn't tell you, though pre-patch I d/c'd twice while activating a teleport and it still used up my animaSmiley: frown

Since the update my game has run alot more smoothly, but then others have seen a downturn in performance. I hope they figure out all these tweaks they are making so everyone can enjoy the game.

Agreed with above in that it definitely seems to be a player-side issue with the graphics settings and what your computer is able to handle...

I'm at my best friend's house for the holiday and last night we were running leves together. For me, not only is EVERYTHING running smoother in general, but the loads of player-characters and NPCs in an area are happening faster, but he was getting the d/c issue. He tried changing a few things including switching to windowed mode and ended up stable again, but because he tried a few things it is hard to determine which was the "fix".

I have d/c a couple of times. But, what has been happening more often is my game just stops working. LS buddy says my graphics card could be overheating. Which can't be the case, because with the update I have the background graphics really low and the general is below stander. Heck, it stopped working when I had it really really low one time. I don't know whats going on.
