Fixed it for you.

I agree with Kane here, why do you correlate Haste with belts, because FFXI had many Haste belts? Why in the world would a belt make you attack faster? (Other than by preventing your pants from falling down to your ankles.)

Outfit of one of the coolest ChronoCross characters = win...

Sarouels might work better, but I guess the stats wouldn't match...

wow that outfit is ugly, and it doesnt even match! lol
theres red on the hat which i think looks pretty good, but the rest is all black and white.... mostly black as the pants are just plain black tights lol
cant wait for the NMs but they seriously need Tim Gunn to give some advice on that aesthetic there...

Yeah, I expected to get more intricate designed items from Yoshida helming the art, but someone could stand to inject abit more color into the weapons and armor/clothing.

You answered your own question.

The FFXIV devs can learn a thing or two from those FFXI guys. And that suggestion does not end with belts, either, though it may as well begin with belts.

So many good belt-related jokes in this thread; I've been ROFL-ing the better part of the entire day, and there seems to always be a new one when I come back.
