Primary skillset for ActionsFollow

I leveled Miner to 27 before I switched to MRD. Then MRD to 22 before I switched to Conjurer and spent maybe an hour or 3 messing around and getting CON to 10. Now my MRD can Cure and Stoneskin himself in combat. I knew it could be done when I started playing... but have been busy leveling MRD and MIN and not enough time figuring out other parts of the game.

My question is, what other actions are people finding handy to have in either combat or DoL that can be used cross-job/guild? Here are SOME suggestions mentioned below.

Second Wind (HP gain)
Bloodbath + Ferocity (HP via damage dealt + attack booster) + Insert favorite high damage melee attack
Siphon MP (MP gain)
Stygian Spikes (MP via damage taken)
Concussive Blow (Reduce Acc)
Featherfoot + Foresight (Evasion/Blink tanking) - Use in conjunction with Fracture + Jarring Strike
Cure (HP gain)
Defender (Melee Def Boost)
Invigorate (Spam TP moves)

Various Absorb Magicks

I like having 2nd Wind despite the large stamina cost, it's good for that extra heal in emergencies and it decreases the amount of downtime when grinding. Bloodbath I love using before weaponskills.

Also, because a lot of spots have multiple mobs(some much higher) I often stay away from AoE weaponskills and replace them with single target ones from other classes. Just the other day an archer in our LS was having trouble with a leve because their AoE skills got too much aggro. Told him to use skills from another class and afterward he said "sh*t, why didn't I think of that!" Might be something people forget they can do sometimes...

Bringing over some mage spells for emergency healing & some buffing is always a plus.

This last bit is more about me having fun, but I love the counterattack moves. Haymaker, Fracture, Phalanx, etc. I like to have at least one of those setup because they're useful & I still get a kick out of it...

Siphon Magic, Stygian Spikes, Punishing Barbs are all fun. Punishing not so much since the last update.

Concussive Blow 2 is my go-to single-target WS
Feint never leaves my bar
Red Lotus from gladiator is great when you need an extra WS that cannot miss
Skull Sunder / Trammel for cheap WS (500 TP)
Jarring Strike when I solo

Raging Strike, Ferocity for those alpha strikes

Cure II / Sacrifice II are very good
Siphon MP is a godsend

Agreeing with Twisted Owl:
(Pugilist) Second Wind has saved my life more times than I can count. I always have it on my bar.
I think it is just a rank 6 ability, so it shouldn't take long to get. TP based healing spell.

Siphon MP! A must for combat classes who want to use MP. It is the absolute best way to keep MP on your bar. Stygian Spikes can help too but Siphon MP is great.

I also enjoy absorb accuracy - more accuracy for me, less for the mob? Right on. I also love Seismic Shock because it just looks cool. Limited AOE, however.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

Updated list the other day. What else are people finding useful?

For pseudo-utsusemi tanking (or more like Third Eye tanking), I find that Foresight and Featherfoot stacked together works wonderfully. I can solo red-difficulty crabs on my marauder (17-20 at the time) and only lose about 400 hp in the entire fight thanks to the parry and evades.

Fracture and Jarring Strike are Foresight and Featherfoot's best friends, so never use the former without the later!

I am closing in on getting most of the DoH/DoM classes to 20 and when soling I like to use:
Second Wind
Jarring Strike (I wear a lot of gear with high evasion so I evade a lot)

If I solo leve's I'll swap in:
Shock spikes
multi hit weapon skills

I swap out different weapon skills too if I wanna mix stuff up and that's what I really love about the combat is mix/matching up different things for different situations. I can't wait to see how some of these skills will play out in harder large scale NM and boss fights. I often find myself thinking "what if I try this skill and see if it combo's with some other skill". It's all about finding synergies and combo's with the different skills that come from the various classes. I can't wait to mess with blindside/follow through and other various skills on lancer and puglist. There is definitely a ton of combo's and situational skills that you can swap in/out and I really don't feel there are any useless skills in the game besides Scavenge....

On my PGL tank I have Rampart for those times when we get unexpected links/aggros, and Invigorate to spam TP moves and use victimize more often. Both are awesome, although the recast timer on Rampart makes it less useful.

Probably going to level MRD for Defender as well since I tank a lot.

Scavenge works fine for what it's meant to be. 1 AP cost, allows you to get 1 free arrow per 6 second once you run out mid-combat? I've used it a couple of times to kill mobs that agro me on the way back to town, etc.
