Dell XPS M1710Follow

Would a Dell Laptop M1710 be any good for this game ? I curently Have a G60JX with i7 and GTS 360M. Sry if i didnt give the spec fof the dell im on my iphone and dont have the spec right now. Btw i can get the Dell for 1000$

With very low graphics settings, you'll be able to play the game. The 7900 GTX is the bare minimum required to play FFXIV. Hoenestly, I'd choose something higher end. You're gonna struggle to find a laptop that will run FFXIV well right now, especially for $1000. Personally, I'd go with a desktop.

If you can drop another $400 for something like MSI 740 or MSI 660 then you can run the game on medium-high settings on a laptop. I have MSI 660R and it seems to be working fine in fullscreen with a little hiccup here and there.

$1000 for a laptop with 7900gtx is a little bit too expensive. You could get a laptop with 9800GTS for $600-ish on ebay.

this, i used to be a loyal dell customer for like 8 years, till they shipped there customer support over seas and created the XPS 730X went through three of those computers in less than a year. So many **** problems.....and always it was the same **** from tech people "um yeah did you restart your computer?" ************* ******* look at my history with this PC and look at the set up, I'm not a ******* 50 year old grandma who watched a black and white TV!"

Ugh after that mess I'ma do what my budy did, build my own.

I play on a WoW ed m1730 laptop. It runs the game on mid setings with no problems.
