Gameplay designed and developed by Chinese studio?Follow

The only plausible explanation for the condition of FFXIV that I can see is that development was largely farmed out to a Chinese company, a suggestion I first read in this forum. I suspect SE is responsible for the graphics, story and cutscenes, but that taking the example of the producers of anime and anime figures, they had the actual gameplay mechanics designed and developed by a Chinese company. Know any good Chinese MMO's? If that's the case I don't think you can expect any real improvements unless they scrap and rebuild.

The ideas were given by aliens to men from Atlantis who told the Men in Black, who then disseminated it through the Illuminati to the developers in a plot to destroy SE from the inside.

Edit: and thank you for allowing my 600th post to be so silly.

Actually a few Chinese MMO's I have played were very well thought out in the controls and combat mechanisms... It was the story and sense of depth that they lacked in. They have to control well, as most of theres are cash shop based... if you can't fight, why buy crap. Unfortunately most of there's rely on PVP as the main attraction, thus major skimping on the little things (and big things like an immersive story).

My first post here WAS a reply to the OP. I think it's a paranoid, thoughtless, unsupported attack against SE and the dev team.

Did you yourself just prove that you are unintelligent?

I haven't played Aion, and Guild Wars wasn't my cup of tea... If we want to go for bland Korean games, I some how got very engrossed in Red Moon...

Chai, this theory has been thrown around so much that I think people are just tired of seeing it. As of now, there is no proof to say that this project was outsourced, so there is no real reason to assume anything.

Explanation, "0-30%. INTOLERABLE. A crime against gaming . Whether it's bugs or bad design, this should be shot on sight." They must be listening to the same aliens.

Doesn't necessarily mean that it was designed and developed by a Chinese studio.

When a published article shows proof that it was designed and developed by a Chinese studio will it be accepted that it was designed and developed by a Chinese studio. Saying that just because the game didn't live up to everyone's expectations is being paranoid.

People who post on forums for games they obviously dislike with the intention of invoking negative reaction from forum-users, instead of using those forums to gather information on a game they enjoy, have more problems than this game ever will.

If this pertains to my post, I'm still not sure how it's relevant. This isn't exactly proof of anything except that the game isn't/wasn't that good. The agreed upon reason among players and the like seem to be that the game was released too early due to various reasons. Nearing year end budget info / cataclysm / other.

Mind you, this isn't me saying I know all or anything, I'm just sharing the community's insight.

If it makes you feel any better, I rated you down for triple posting rather than editing together responses.

Y'know, there are two ways for your posts to be accepted by the community: not posting the-sky-is-falling, unsupported theories that have been previously discussed on the forums, and not bring a jerk-off in your replies.

You were only sub-defaulted once you started to attack what people said. Clearly people do not like to be "flamed" and the like. I cannot personally blame them. As per your first post, you put out your theory and people overall didn't have a huge issue with it. They made their counter arguments. You should have chosen to ignore the few posts that were slightly mocking you in jest.

By the way, I don't even necessarily disagree with your OP (I wouldn't say completely outsourced), you're just an annoying cnut the second someone presents a counterpoint.

Oh another thinly veiled racist statement from one of the forum's most brilliant posters.

Well done. I'd love to hear how this design is "Chinese."

The pizza place on the corner by my apartment makes pretty poor pizza. I'm pretty sure they outsource it to a Chinese restaurant. Have you ever had good pizza from a Chinese restaurant? It's the only explanation for how the pizza there isn't very good.
