LOVELIES!

It's that time of the week again! Check out Gary and I discuss the new info released about Deadeyes and the gear that you get in exchange for killing the vile beasts. Also, a bit of a breakdown of an experiment done by the BBB on Wutai.

I listen to you always at work while drawing.

If it's not too much trouble could you keep the mp3 versions of these going?

I want to download Kenzors endless enthusiasm as an audio-file whenever the grind of real life is too steep.

Love the show! I'm curious if Gary even plays the game though. A lot of the stuff he says about the game is inaccurate.

I wish gary would stop whining about the terrain. It isn't like every single square inch of WoW, EQ, EQ2, Warhammer, AoC, FFXI, minecraft, was individually, lovingly crafted with no repetition whatsoever...

It's funny how people made such a big issues about repeating textures/design . Doesn't it happend like in every MMO? Oo

The thing about other games is they hide it. The thing about FFXIV is the copy paste terrain slaps you in the face over and over again. The woods outside Gridania are bad or this. It almost seems like they came up with 5 difrent looking areas then copy and pasted them together.

Yes, it is just alot more noticeable in FFXIV. In WoW for example, they repeat the same buildings, farmhouses over and over, and caves are repeated. But the outside zone is hand carved. Of course they will repeat things like trees and bushes.

Running through FFXIV is like something in a bad dream, where every time you turn a corner, you are right back where you were before. Take the Gridania area, when you are traveling through and cross one of those little streams, turn ur camera to one side and theres a waterfall in the distance, this entire area is a copy/pasted module just plopped in allover the zone. Those bigger circular areas where theres a fallen, hollowed out tree you run through, once again same entire area used again and again.

At any rate, this is the best FFXIV podcast out there :)

Really liking the podcasts.

I still want to know what the intro music is and where I can get a copy of it from.
