So... where do I grind now? o.OFollow

So I haven't had a whole lot of time to myself since Thanksgiving, which has been really rough on my playtime because the old grinding spots just don't work the same, as we all know. But I am loathe to spend my precious little time searching for a spot... so please help. :D

I am Rank 20, looking to grind with 1 or 2 other Rank 20 players (friends from my LS). Based on your post-patch findings, where would be a good area for us to go? Which mobs are decidedly worthwhile SP targets? Thanks in advance for any info. :)

I've just been doing leves and behests and have been ranking up about once a day. I've had anywhere from 2 to 15 in my party while doing so.

Leves in Behest in a group is absolutely the way to go at this point.

Try to get a tight level grouping and take them on at a few higher stars, linked, and with guardian's aspect.

Good luck.

This is what my LS does, do behest, then 3-4 leves then behest. Repeat until your eyes bleed!

So... two hours total until next leve reset? Or am i missing something? Can you get decent SP by not linking leves?

It's actually not worth it to link leves. A few of my LS mates did a little experiment last night; not linked, with no guardians aspect, I was getting 118 per kill on a particular leve. Where as with linked leves, and with guardian's aspect my LS mate was getting 189 or so from the same mobs. For linking to be worth it, with no guardians aspect he should have been getting more than 240 sp per kill.

this was a 5 man group ranks 26 - 28, both of the people mentioned above were r27

linking leves is worth it. I tried it around lv 25s with 3 links and the xp was through the roof ~400ish. I would only link if 3 ppl have it, for some reason 2 links is not as good proportion wise.

Also grinding beats out behest + leves still. Just find something that will give you around 100-150 sp if you solo and high respawn rate, and get 3 other people to join you and kill it fast for 60ish-80ish sp.

It's 10k-15k per hour if you don't stop to take breaks.

Behest is random for me, sometimes 2.5k sometimes 5k depends on group size and how many idiots hitting yellow mobs. Any dmg to yellow mobs even if they don't die is a % of the exp of mob that is lost.

This hasn't been my experience, but killing them while they are still yellow definitely yields no sp. I'll have to do some testing :)

Lets say you have 2 mobs. Mob 1 is red, Mob 2 is yellow, and you do damage to both. They are both supposed to give 100 SP.

Mob 1 (red dies), and Mob 2 was beaten to 50% HP.

Once mob 2 turns red at 50% HP, and you kill it, it will yield you 50 SP, half of the original 100.

I understand the logic behind that, I just haven't noticed it and want to see for myself.

I too can confirm this - I was even thinking about starting a thread about it

I've completely stopped using AoE attacks (while solo) and pick them off one at a time, as rather than benefiting from killing multiple mobs at once you actually NET less SP
