I am trying to do a repair on an item in someone bazaar. It is dodo mitts, when I repair them, i keep getting a "Repair failed. Unable to return item."

BUt when I look in my inventory, the item used to repair the mitts is still in my inventory as if I have not used it.

so...that's odd. was it a PC's bazaar and did they get DC'd? sounds like a server-client glitch...i.e., the repair never happened b/c it couldn't...but not b/c YOU couldn't do it.

I think this happens when that person inventory is full so even if you successfully repair their item, them not having enough room for it will canceled out your repairs.

No it was a retainer.

And as for the inventory being full that makes sense. Was just wondering if anyone else had the same issue.

This happened with a friend of mine.. he asked me to repair his weapon... and after he put it up, items dropped into his inventory from his Loot... kept giving that error message.. he cleared a spot.. and no problem at all~

Happened to me 2 times as well, both with PCs and not retainers. Full inventory makes sense. I don't think it's a glitch.

I made the same exact post earlier, it is due to full inventory.

I was getting same thing earlier today. I'm glad it was because of their full inventory. I was getting annoyed that I wasn't able to repair an item that I should be able to repair easily. I wasn't checking to see if I was losing the materials or not, I thought I wasted 5 ash logs.
