Sorry if this has been asked before, but a search didn't yield much.

I see a lot of retainers wearing equipment that they are not selling in their bazaars. How can I play dress-up, my slave still looks like a burlap sack unless I have her model something better for sale.

They either wear what they sell, or their own (default) clothes, unless there's a secret trick to get some gear to "stick" on them without having them sell it.

It's looking like I just chose a retainer that looks like a burlap sack... nevermind. Some default outfits are better than others I guess.

SE has already confirmed that we will be able to change their equipment later. >.> I don't see the point really though. I feel it will only add to them loading slower... oh wellz

I think I'm going to get a set of christmas clothes for my retainer and set them to selling it for 999,999,999 so i can make them wear it.

Then comes along someone who has all the gil in the world and buys it! If I had all the gil in the world, That's all I would do.... Make people very rich and happy, yet at the same time very very confused. And when the inflation sets in.... everyone would hate me.

I had something like that happen in FFXI. I think it was Christmas '05. I made a Dragon Harness +1 and put it on a mules bazaar in Batallia Downs for 99,999,999 just to show it off and when I checked back in the morning it sold. At first I thought it had gone missing because I certainly did not think someone would buy it for 100M then I saw that I had the gil and went nuts. I expect the fact that it was Christmas had something to do with why it sold >_>;
