My arms have jagged edges

It would be really nice to add a 32X or 64X CSAA option in the Final Fantasy XIV configuration..

I've got a 40" 1080p screen that I'm viewing from about 2 feet away and the jaggies are visible at 1080P 16XCSAA.
nvidia's control panel override does not seem to be working for this game.

Please bring us the 32X CSAA and 64X CSAA options!!

Higher quality textures on distant objects. Can I have it?

I look at the picture.... and look again..... Where is the problem?
The Texture Thread is perfect. I want better distance Textrures too. But on this Picture I don't see any mistake. Everything looks really smooth

Not that I'm ever happy saying "no" to a feature, I think this is a bad choice, even though I own a Crossfire setup. With the reluctance to change the cut-n-paste roads scattered throughout La Noscea because "the PS3 is coming" I think this one might be a poor choice to fix. This one needs to be compared to resources available and product requirements.

The former is better left to another thread.

The latter is simply that the further things diverge between a PS3 and up-to-date computing hardware in a multi-platform development effort the less likely it is to implement them given concern of time, resources, and technical complexity.

As an aside, if you have a 40" 1080P at 2 feet, you're too close. Most monitor manufacturer recommended distances for a 40" screen approach five feet as a minimum distance. THX recommends approximately 4' to 6' with a minimum distance corresponding to a 40 degree viewing angle. There are a number of good viewing distance calculators you can find on the web, not that it isn't your right to sit wherever you want in the privacy of your own home.

wont help you
youll always have jaggies as your playing on a low resolution for the size of the screen limited by the fact that its a tv not a monitor i guess

AA only blends the colours between pixels, if you havent got a pixel to put the colour in it wont do jack

I play at 2ft on a 19" at 1280x1024 with no aa and jaggies are barely visible due to my pixel size being substantially smaller than yours
