I just read the wiki about retrying failed leves after the reset. By doing this, are you able to turn in that failed leve after you retry it successfully? Or is it locked out from being traded?

You can actually exchange it after the reset even if you don't retry it.

Oh I know that part. That's what I've been doing. But I'm wondering if I've been wasting exp and sp by not retrying it prior to exchanging it.

EDIT:

Also, how do I post my character in my signature like everyone else?

Along the top menu of the webpage you'll see the HOME button, drop that down and you'll see the link for the Sig. generator there.

I'd say yes, though. By turning in a leve not having done it, you're losing out on potential exp/gil/item rewards/marks.

So you are confirming that I can:

Get a leve, fail it, wait 36 hours, retry the leve, and then immediately trade it in once completed?

It seems like failing all leves once you're down to 1 more mob left to kill would maximize exp and sp potential. This would mean that you essentially get to do each leve twice before turning it in although you would only receive the reward once. Not bad though since you don't waste any leve resets.
