Heya~ :)

I've been trying to run FFXIV on my Windows 7 laptop. Well, after trying everything to make it work it just didn't. I even e-mailed customer support about it and searched on the internet. (yeah, the moment I clicked to run it it basically crashed and blabla)

So, I tried it out on my mac Bootcamp Windows XP, and thankfully it worked. :)
Sadly though, it lags like a ....., so I tried putting the settings (graphics) down with the ffxivconfig. Weirdly, the settings window crashes when I press save. So I can't change the settings...
Now, I tried updating my windows xp, but this didn't work...

Anyone have an idea? ^^;;;

Thanks in advance,

I'm not normally good with things like this, but you should try running the benchmark first if you have not already.

Creepygiggles suggestion should fix your config issue. After that, I reccomend checking out this guide I made on running FFXIV on a Mac. I am running on a MB Pro with the 320M and got some pretty decent results considering my FFXIV benchmark score of about 850.
