I've been playing ffxiv since beta....no problems...then Dec 15th update comes out and I crash when loading first SE logo screen, both at work and on home computers. I updated nvidia drivers on both computers, which fixed my work issue. But no help on home computer. To make a long story short....after reloading the game....tweaking graphics issues....yada yada.....saw an obscure comment somewhere that ffxiv crashes if you have sound play back quality set to above 44100 MHz. Lowered my playback quality....no more crash.....how bizaar.
