Server Rollback check you Leves and InventoryFollow

Last night Karnak experienced a problem where certain zones locked up and people were unable to get back into game. I think other servers experienced the same thing. Upon logging in today I see they had done a rollback, however I cannot say it makes any sense. This is why.

Approximately yesterday afternoon (CST)- Did regional and faction leve's with no problems. Got rewards from both and they were in my inventory.
Yesterday Evening- Did R30 class quest in Gridania. And hopped on an alt for a bit.
Yesterday Night - Server experienced problems while on alt.

Now this morning I log on and find..

1. Half the Battlecraft Leve's I did in the afternoon are now not completed, still available in my journal to do. One of the Faction leve's showing completed now lists no reward and the reward I received yesterday in not in my inventory.
2. The class quest I completed in the evening was now rolled back a few steps (quest was done after leve's) and I had to complete it again.
3. The alt I had played at night shows not having moved nor leveled at all.

The rollback seems a bit inconsistent to me as leve's and items/rewards were removed but the quest which was done many hours later is half complete and the progress on the alt never happened. Just think you should check you inventories and leve's to see if you too are missing rewards/exp/leve's from last nights debacle.

Yes, I had seen the notice prior to logging in today. However, most of my activities were complete long before the time mentioned in the Lodestone notice. Thats why I found it strange and inconsistent. The rollback for me for some things took me back over 6 hrs and others only 1-2 hrs. I just wanted to make sure people were aware, at least in my case, it was not a simple 30-45 min rollback and to check thier inventories and Leve's. Thats all

I lost sp, and crystals, and also a few stack of precious items - and WE SHOULDNT HAVE TO CHECK EFFING LODESTONE TO KNOW ABOUT EMERGENCY MAINTS!!!!!!!! That's what SYSTEM MSGs are for and we got nothing, they just pulled the plug without prior notice!

Um, if you actually read the lodestone you'd know that it wasn't am emergency maintenance. They had sudden hardware failure, meaning no one saw it coming. They got it all back up and running in just a few hours, which is impressive. Rollbacks usually mean something like hard drive failure and they had to load backup drives.
