I played for like the first two weeks after launch but I stopped playing because I promised I wait for my friend to buy a computer so we can play together. But in those two weeks I didnt talk to a single person.

Now that I am finally going to start up again, I am trying figure out a good server. I saw a previous thread that suggested rabanastre and selbina. But they never went in detail so not really sure.

Well if you are interested a lot of us Zammers are in a shell on Rabanastre, just give us a shout here if you sign up on Rab and we can get you a pearl. The shell is pretty active and quite talkative most of the time.

I'm on Selbina, and I know my LS is pretty talkative, but I don't really talk to strangers too much. I'm pretty sure all the servers are similar. Just find a good linkshell, and you will always have company.

While no one here can really tell you what is the most social server, or best server because all it is, is an opinion. I would recommend Lindblum server. Let me explain why Lindblum might be a good server for you to land on.

I've looked at both ffxiv.yg.com and ffxivpro.com those websites have sort of an price for items list, either by server or globally. I have found that Lindblum's prices for items, and materials is usually much much cheaper then other worlds. Yes you might be able to make 1 million off an item on another server, but all the prices it seems are a little more costly as well. Gil accrual is the same on all worlds when you base it off the fact of gil rewards from leves, and the likes.

However, I do also have to say we have a very good community, yes we do have the same amount of jerks, but we also have a lot of great people as well. So give us a try if your looking for a great server.

I'll have to agree to this, Lindblum is a fairly nice server to be on. I've never had any problems, but I'm sure, like all servers there are some rotten apples. Rarely is there obnoxious shout spam that's just meant to irritate and I’ve found that random ‘newbie’ questions are answered with honest sincerity.

Prices are decent and I rarely feel like I’m overpaying for something. As long as you want to contribute to our community rather than take advantage of it, I happily suggest Lindblum for you. ^^

I love my server and my linkshell.

:)

Feel free to join us - we are not super high ranked - we have people at all different progression levels - but we try to be decent and helpful.
