Hi all.

I am a swedish resident and I wonder what server is a good choice for me? Could someone please give me descriptions?

They are all the same. Seriously, just pick a name you like, because other than minor differences, they're all international communities that are roughly equal to each other.

Only exception is Besaid that I know of, since it's the unofficial roleplaying server. (don't worry, you don't have to be a roleplayer to join, it just means you'll randomly hear interesting conversations when walking through town.)

i seem to recall seeing a list that showed some "unofficial european servers" as well as the roleplaying one. dont know if this actually panned out but who knows. if theres not a particular server thats heavy european maybe a linkshell that is will snag this lil guy up and give him a home making this decision easier.

If you're genuinely intent on playing I'd suggest my own since we have a good amount in the LS I belong too (including a few Swedish people I believe). That said, Fabul is a lighter populated server. The servers vary in population.

What do you mean by lightly? As I like it when its a bit busy in the cities and in the markets. Though I don't like it when its to crowded so its hard finding mobs to slay.

Meaning its one of the lower populated servers. Its not crowded by any means.

Well I will chooce Fabul :)

Question: When I am creating my character they make me choose what way I want to lean towards. I wanted to be both gladiator and conjurer - though primarly conjurer but wanted to start with gladiator, is there a possibility to choose otherwise later in game? Because I picked Miqo´te as a race, and they aint the best race to be primary gladiator with.

Nope, how you make your character and what direction she takes is 100% malleable.

I am sorry I just started playing on Fabul. Perhaps it is possible to change servers later if this one don't suits me - however I don't find it likely, as long as I find a good LS. :)

No one knows how to make the game full screen or change display settings?

Use the Final Fantasy XIV config from the start menu. ;)

And as far as I know, all races stats are essentially the same, no? I mean, maybe not totally the same, but only like 1 or two points difference, and since you can allocate stats freely, it doesn't really matter, does it? Or does like a level 50 lalafell have 15 more mind and int stat than a level 50 hyur, for instance?

Either way, race doesn't play much of an effect, if any. Pick what you like.
