Hi guys,
as the title already says, im looking for a pass!
I've been reading the forums for a longer time and due to the massive negative critic,
im still not sure if I really want to spend 30$ on that game.
Altough, it looks very intersting to me ( crafting, leves and so on! ), im not sure if i can get comfortable with SP grinding.
I'd be very pleased if someone could give me a pass, so i can try it out.

To my best knowledge the pass will give you a 30 day free trial, since the game is free to play at the moment you don't actually need a pass.

You can just create a SE account and play free like everyone else...

[Free Trial Extension Details]

All users who registered a FINAL FANTASY XIV service account and purchased a character by November 19, 2010.

* Character purchases must have been carried out no later than November 19, 2010 at 23:59 (GMT).

So uhm, I don't know.
Afaik I do have to add an Account (which needs a Key obviously) in order to play.
Can't play without a pass I guess.

You still get a free month with the game. People who registered before the 19th had their free time extended.

So how do I enter the code in order to register my account, if I got none? :P

You might be right but since the game is free at the moment I find it strange that Se will require new players to pay for the first month or anyafter that at the moment.

If I'm not mistaken they mentioned that the game is free till further notice, regardless of when accounts were created (although they just mentioned it was free, not the regardless part).

you still have to pay for the game (thus the registration code) even if you do not have a monthly fee.

I doubt anyone is still hanging on to their CE codes. If 30 bucks is a big investment for you maybe you should wait and see how you feel in a week or two, if you still can't get the thought of it out of your head.. go buy a copy.

If you have a job/steady income/rich .. spend the 30 bucks... people spend more than that on crap food and candy in a week.

Far as I can recall the Buddy Pass that came with the Collector's Edition is supposed to be a second copy of the game. Those who bought the CE version essentially paid for two accounts. Even if the game is free right now (Only due to SE's mistakes) you still need an actual copy of the game, IE the registration code. Without it you're not gonna have access. At this point all SE's doing is making you pay for the software once, and then get free complete access to the game itself until they determine to pull the plug on this offer. Now, no offense when I say this, but if you're looking to just get someone's pass to see if you like the game, don't. Like I said it's a full copy of the game and you're pretty much wasting their key if you decide it's not worth it. Not to mention I doubt anyone wants to just give up a Buddy Pass like that without knowledge it's going to be used.

I've still got mine unused but may have plans to give it to a friend still, but only because I know they'll actually use it and won't up and quit later thus wasting it. Giving it away is pretty much like buying the game for someone in a sense...
