Behest is easy sp, but when more then one party is doing it it is counter productive. So lets make even more simple, when you join behest you are added to a battlewarden party. This way nobody has to make a party and everyone benefits from the great sp.

Agreed, I ran into this last night at bloodshore. We had a party of ten and another party of 3 Japanese players who would not join our group and ruined the SP gains for everyone.

Last night, while doing a behest, this high level GLA who obviously is doing nothing but spamming behest on the hour every hour, told our party of 6 to GTFO when we signed up rather than agreeing to team up.. wtf lol?! And yes he significantly reduced our sp gain.. or as he would like to think.. we ruined his!

Also I wish people would be more careful. Everyone just runs in like crazy people aoeing everything and attacking whatever mobs they want totally reducing SP for everyone since you can only claim one goup at a time. At least in Behest allow us to claim 1-3 groups at a time or something because total SP loss when some jerk doesn't wanna listen and decides to go attack other random spawns. : /

Probably not going to make any friends doing it, but kick them from the party. Really annoys me when some jerk kills mob's without a red name - wastes everyone's SP - there's included.

This is just a social aspect of the game. You just have to deal with it. I do not want SE regulating how we interact with other players.

Biggest problem on Behest I think is...that if too many ppl join a Behest, you won't get Full SP on all mobs anyway even if all are in one group, cause for some reason even on Rank 40 behest, half the ppl didn't get it yet, that you don't get SP for mobs that are not flagged red...I don't know how much SP I missed just because of ppl randomly attacking mobs that are not red and killing them for 0 SP -_-

Guilty, I was so used to doing behests on my own or outside a party because people wouldn't join... the other day I got carried away and ran off toward a random mob to the dismay of the group. I felt horrible, and I wait and see if there's a strategem now, sadly there still usually is not.

Funny enough we had a group of Japanese who refused to join our group when we did it in Gridania. We all got the short end of the stick but them more so since we took more mobs then them.

Its really stupid when people don't join together. What a stupid waste of SP.

^ This.

Is this a new trend or something? While trying to level my lowbie jobs with lowbie camp behests, I have found myself, more than once, in the company of high-level players who really have no business there. Are they too afraid or too lazy to venture out into the wide, open world and pick on mobs their own size? Just spare me my Bark Weevils and Naked Moles, please!

That's what I've been saying all along.

A Warhammer-like auto-group function for Behests. The most damage or amount healed or whatever could be optional for a loot table at the end of the Behest.
