reactivating account helpFollow

Ive decided to give ff14 another shot. Im trying to reactivate my account,but my old login and pw seem to not be working..so i registered a new se account. When i go to add a service account to my log in page,it says that my code is already in use (from my first account.) i cant seem to get my old log in (syas that email has no account?)

You can't just register a new SE account and slap your old XIV account onto that; that's not how it works.

You need to contact SE and have them provide you with your old SE account login information. I'm not sure if you can get the login name via web-help, or just the password, but their customer service phone number is in the Info/Links sticky on this forum.

I cant seem to find the customer support number anywhere. Some more assistance with it would be greatly appreciated~!

Its in the back of the manual, hidden in loads of text, its there just hard to find.

Thanks,ill check m y manual tonight when i get home from work. if someone else in the mean time has the number handy i caould call at work and get my account info back!

You can also find the SE support number on the SE support site, but you have to really dig for it.

haha actually the guy was pretty helpful,had me fill out a ticket,called back with the number and my account was reactivated! took about 5 minutes and was hassle free. SHOCKER!

Glad to hear it! When I called I ended up having a guy chew me out for abusing the teleprompter, which I didn't even do. So I had him transfer me and had my issue resolved quickly after that.
