Hi alls.
Wife bought me FF XIV for christmas , just got round to installining it , creating account , adding service to account ...... etc etc .
But I have really no idea where to go from there .
Is there one race/class that is better for a noob player to start out with ?
What about starting cities ??
Any help greatfully recieved :-)

The nice thing about FF compared to other MMOs, you dont have to worry about your race, itl have little impact.
As for class, ask yourself what you want to do.
Do you want to start out fighting? with magic or weapons? do you want to be a gatherer? or do you want to make stuff instead?
Once you have this question answered, remember, it isnt the final answer, you can always change clas without making a new character ANY TIME YOU WANT, all you need to do is change to a weapon of that class.
As for starting citys, all 3 work though a majority of people flock to Uldah.
