Social LS?Follow

Is there any sort of LS on our server that mostly serves as a chatty, social, help, trade system?

There are so many people on my server, yet when I ask a question, it seems there's never any sort of response. Seems really odd to me, but I'll admit this is my first time playing a FF game, so maybe this is the norm?

I started to wonder if because of the way linkshells are structured, if maybe ya'll carry around a linkshell that's a great big 'ooc' and everyone has their /shout turned off, or if it's just getting buried in all the LS activity?
