1. Get a Retainer
2. Summon him in the Market Ward
3. Seek Repair: Reward XXX gil you want to transfer
4. Log Out
5. Log-in with Alt
6. Repair Item for XXX gil.
7. ???
8. Profit

I would laugh my rear end off if someone came along during that time to see a repair for 45,000 and ruin your plan.

I transfer gil all the time without using outside help. Just put an item up for sale on your alts retainer and then log on to your main and buy it. Just make sure you put it in the appropriate market ward to alleviate taxation.

Example: I usually put one fire crystal up for 100k in the crystal ward and then go buy it with my main. As long as you use an item that is worth less than the amount you wish to transfer there is no risk of loss.

I know it won't be of any use to you now, but they did say an official mailing service is coming next version update. (Incase you're curious.)

Glad I could help. ^^

Yeah, transferring items is more of a pain. The only reason I have alts is to search the market wards in other cities for cheap crafting materials and crystals, but without a mail box it can become troublesome to get the items to my main.

When I do transfer items I try to do it during off hours of the day and in whatever city and market ward has the least traffic. If you want to take the risk, you can set the prices really low so you aren't taxed as much.
