I'm currently PUG r32 and have been doing leves and behest but I'm looking for a place to grind. I've tried Iron Coblyns but found Nanawa mines pretty crowded and thus a lack of mobs to kill. Peridot and Quartz doblyns yield too much downtime/SP to be efficient. Any other recommendations on solo grinding locations?

Cellar puk in Nanawa Mines/Mun Tuy Cellar or Fat dodo + Magicked Bones at night in Cedarwood. Massacre 'em.

ok, sorry feel abit sleepy,... solo is ok but not the best, try to shout for sp party in nanawa. as you said is alwways pacl so shouldnt be a issue. get atless a trio then raid the whole nanawa mine, remember make the run around smooth study how to run it, then behest. yeh is a non-stop action plan.

I solo'd all the way to 34 basically. It was especially Brutal 32-34.

Then, I joined a party with 3 friends, and we did around 10 leves, using Leve-Link where possible, and got 34K in 3 hours (more than half the way from 34-35).

It's not beneficial to level solo. SE said so themselves before the game was even launched.
Djigga, please. Highland Hyurs can't jump.

Easiest way to solo is as follows,

1 grab 6 r30 leves and 2 r20 leves. Head to the r20 camp first and do your leves on the 5 star. At 32 you should still pull 100-200 SP per mob dependent on the Leve, once leves are done find a mob that gives decent SP and solo on them till behest. Do behest. Tele to 1st r30 camp. Do all three leves, when finished solo some mobs for decent SP, do a behest. Go to 2nd r30 camp, do the same thing. This should net you 20-30k SP for about 3 hours of work, that is more than half way to the next rank. If you got some friends bring them along and leve link. If not do their leves as well and add another 2-3 behests, granted you're adding two to three more hours but you're also adding another 15-20k SP...Guess what's that's a rank. Do it again in 36 hours, bam there is another rank! Find a shell that does Leves as an LS event and you should be able to rack up ~50k SP for about 4 hours of work. Do that for a month and bam you're r50.

Thanks for the help guys. I tried solo speed killing in the Mun-Tuy Cellars yesterday and got about 5k SP per hour yesterday. The opo-opos and puks averaged about 60 SP per kill, die easy and have a fast respawn. Not sure it will be worth the time at r33 so I'm going to try cranking up the r20 leves to 5 star.

I'm a 31THM and I've been "grind farming" Cellar Puks in Mun Tuy Cellars for decent SP gains (5k-7k/hour).

When I farm, I prefer to kills mobs that yield decent SP rather than just slaughter lowbie stuff for the drops. I use Yellow Gremlin to help target level appropriate mobs that drop whatever I'm after (sorry ZAM).

Again, as previous posters have mentioned in this thread (and everywhere else), straight solo grinding 20+ really is not the most efficient way to SP. It really slows down 30+...

Embrace leves and behest in groups to optimize your SP gains in the present state of FFXIV.
