Do HQ (+1, +2, +3..) items have any visual differences compared to their standard NQ versions? I've heard a while ago (the armored cavalry bow in particular) that they do, but have yet to see any side by side comparisons.

I'd like to see some side-by-side comparisons as well. Been wondering this myself. If anyone has the NQ, +1, +2 and +3 items stashed somewhere it would be awesome to see the screens :)

One of the "Making the Realm" videos on the official youtube channel mentioned this. They said there was supposed to be a difference. I've yet to notice anything but haven't done any sort of side-by-side comparison.

When I swapped between Sentinel's chainmail and Sentinel's chainmail +1 (to compare stats) my character did not blink, indicating no visual difference. Some HQ items may look different than their NQ counterparts, but Sentinel's chainmail does not.

I can't even tell the difference between a red and a green haubergeon...
"... he called to himself a wizard, named Gallery, hoping by this means to escape the paying of the fifteen hundred crowns..." (Machen 15)

"Thus opium is pleasing... on account of the agreeable delirium it produces." (Burke para.6)

On a hauby it's usually not on the metal party of the armor but the cloth under it.

I really liked that in aion when you crafted an item and it hq'd, it would be usually quite different from the regular version :)

Loved making gold hats, they had two big feathers rather than a one small one :) I hope they really ad that in, AFTER more content is added. It's at the end of my wishlist right now :)

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.

When I equipped an Ash Macuahuitl, then a +1, my character DID blink. The only difference I could tell while switching back and forth between the two was them being slightly different colors.
