That's brilliant in that the 'forces beyond your control' is the limited amount of space your bottomless bag has :p

The 'Walnut Mask' in the screenshot is not a rare item :p

I think he meant a Rare/Unique item.... not so much the Walnut mask..

but since he didn't see the SS... it seems like something else!!!! Usually the items are just tossed....

It means you are full inventory. Clear some space and check the atheryte again for the reward. It does not get tossed or floored.

I'm pretty sure the OP is a tongue-in-cheek joke since inventory most definitely IS within our control.

I don't think someone could acquire 14 mil and items like peiste skins without having run into this before. :)

Some things like this I just shake my head and wonder why its worded like that as well. I remember doing leves and getting this message too and wondering what it was about. Confusing. Its in the same vein as the fatigue message "You receive bonus points." Unless they're going into a bank to be claimed later somehow, its not a bonus, its a **** penalty. Why doesn't the game just say it clearly?

I guess its better than "Inventory full. Priceless item lost." You can at least come back to the crystal later and claim the item.

I only saw it once in XI, but a LS member lost crimson cuisses because a crystal autosorted to him at the same time and he had 1 inventory open. Good times.

this message means your inventory is full, so the item cannot fit. I had this happen on sat, I cleaned out some items before I logged off that night, and the item appeared in my inv sunday morning.

You, good sir, deserve a cookie.

Since I don't have a cookie, a rate-up will have to do instead.

It really puzzles me why can't they just tell you straight and simple that your inventory is full, instead of some esoteric message that isn't even true.../discard moko grass

I personally love this message, what's a fantasy themed game without some kind of mystery or wacky text about some mystic force! ^^

Better yet, let's see this message:

"You do not have enough inventory space to recieve Item 'X'. It will be placed in your temporary inventory for 30 minutes, after which it will be lost forever. Please make room in your inventory soon or choose to discard this item."

It's like the "You are AWARDED BONUS experience points" and "Your xxx skill bonus increases" message you get in fatigue.
Their translation team could take a better look at what's happening vs what's being displayed lol.

Sounds like you need an Armoire of Invincibility to carry your loot.
