So, if Thursday is the new Friday, does that make Friday the new Firesday... At which point Thursday becomes Firesday, and we all explode in the impending paradox?

What in FFXIV is so hard to do/get that you will even consider going to a private server?

I think he's saying that ZAM is owned by Square Enix. Interesting that SE would run a website for so many years just for the sake of a game they havent developed yet, and publisize several other competitors games on it as well...

Either that or "There is no spoon!"

Actually, ZAM is owned by the same company that owns IGE, a company specializing in RMT, which Vivendi gaming, which owns the majority stock of Activision-Blizzard, also owns stock in...

Okay I managed to confuse myself there. Let's just say Activision-Blizzard has a direct link to ZAM.

I remember being an everyday poster here when the whole "RMT is buying ZAM" fest came about!

No, actually I'd be suspicious if SE wasn't actively undermining their own agenda; what you described sounds quite like the SE I know.

I played on a private server once. But I was a douche when I lotted on an item I wanted, so I MPKed myself. Then I called a GM and reported myself for it. Fortunately, I -was- the GM, so I agreed with me that I was in the wrong and I banned myself.

Playing too much with your private server will make you go blind...or at least make your mouse hairy.

Uhh... no Sony Online Entertainment bought it.
There was a big protest in EQ1 when that happened. They even hired the IGE CEO to be the person behind the EQ2 Free to Play remember?
