Yesterday I made my first visit to Mor Dhona, which was in parallel with the R34 storyline quest. Getting there wasn't as easy as it used to be from Camp Crimson Bark. Apparantly, SE hasn't lost the evil aspect of their sense of humor in placing various mobs along the way that can 2X my HP, one-shot me through protect and stoneskin, but I made it the second attempt, and was able to complete the quest.

While I was up there, I decided it would be a good idea to get access to one of the aetherytes, for future tele purposes. However, in looking at the map, it wasn't all that evident to me which of the 2 camps would be easier to get to, nor was it all that obvious the route I should take to get to either of the 2 camps.

Long story short, I chose Brittle Bark, which I think was a bad choice, having entered from the Black Shroud, and I ended up aggro'g a Pugot, which again, one-shotted me for about 2K damage.

I was hoping someone might give me some guidance here, maybe even a hilighted map would be sincerely appreciated.

Also, I have a couple of noob questions that I should know the answer to by now, but I don't lol.

- Can someone who has that aetheryte tele you there, even if you haven't visited that particular aetheryte yet? I believe the answer is yes.

- If I make my way to a node, will it give me the option to tele to the nearest aetheryte crystal, even if I haven't visited that particular aetheryte?

Thanks.

From Black Shroud to to coerthats on northwest edge then to DorMonna.

Untill u get to half way to Coerthats there shouldnt be a problem with agro mobs and then you have a few Toads, Snake things and even Does which are agressive.

Myself I did that on MRD29 and was able to get to the crystals spots.

Through Coerthas to Mor Dohna is definitely the easiest, Dogging some boars, Peistes (which, I haven't fully tested, but from how close I have gotten to their rear-end, I would say they aggro on sight), and toads, which, if they aggro, never need to move to kill you, their ranged attack can hit you from a distance of almost 1/2 your mini-map. Things are ANNOYING to say the least, but fairly easy to dodge if you are patient.

And Does do not aggro, Stags do. Again, I believe they are sight, but don't take my word for it, just try and stay away, their sneeze can 1-shot anyone under 20, and depending on your job do just over 1k damage (haven't been hit by the ones right on the zone line.

Fortunately, there is a steady chain of nodes on the way to Mor Dohna, so if you die, you ussually don't have to go that far back.

Once in, the toadstools don't appear to aggro, and there is only like 1 peiste on the way to the closest camp.

You can make it with some ease to the western most node, however, I was not able to get all the way around the map either way, to make it to either the other camp, or node. Spent a good hour dying to the boars out there. Was able to avoid pretty much every other mob (forgot which mobs were on the east side, but was also annoyingly dense).

On a side note, on the east side, there are a few ??? spots next to a lake, made it there, and clicked on them, but they did nothing. I am assuming they are a hidden quest, or a later mission/quest.

From experience you can almost step on the back of the Peiste's tail and they wont come after you so indeed it appears to be agressite on sight only.

On the other hand, Migrating Doe (I think it's called) standing in the plains on the southwestern part of Coerthas agro for sure, I got the bruise to show for it (I died).

Like the other posters have mentioned the best way is through Coerthas which will bring you **** near right on top of Camp Revenant's Toll once you zone into Mor Dhona.

Yes, if someone has a aetheryte registered they will be able to teleport you there.

Nice, thanks everyone.

That's how much I know, I didn't even know you could get there thru Coerthas lol.

Incidently, the 5 ??? near the Black Shroud exit/entrance is to plant the 5 crystals required for the R34 storyline quest.

Regards.
