Has anyone noticed if the NPC venders in the guilds increase their inventories from PCs selling items to them?

I haven't really tested this myself, but I'm going to assume "No". This was something that SE did in FFXI. If you sold certain items (applicable to the guild), the NPC venders would later add those to their inventory or increase the amount available for sale. It didn't work with all items though. I just remember mainly the cooking and fishing guilds were good for this.

I don't like limiting one of my retainers to selling random bits (say for cooking) that I pick up from harvesting, would be nice to dump them on the proper guilds vender for others to purchase.

I haven't noticed that NPC vendors sell limited items like they did in XI. I don't think this feature has been added.

They did this in FF XII as well, the more you sold to the NPC the more he had or even he would furnish items made from what you turned in. Wish they would do that here. Say you turn in 50 Cotton Bolls, then come back the next day to buy Cotton Yarn at a discounted price.

Yea, it would be a nice idea for the players to be able to "stock" the guild venders. I'd go out of my way to dump random crap on the correct guild venders if it meant they'd be better stocked later, helps everyone in the end really. Guess I'll go fill out their suggestion form...
