I guess you never played FFXI... Of course it's always GMT prime time!!
I think the rest of the world are jealous of how good things are here (in EU) so they are taking a revenge! lol

stop whinging, it's maint. not a version update. If we get something, cool. If not all we can reasonably expect is server side stability issues improved or whatever.

I do find it odd it's a 2.5 hour one instead of the usual 3 hour or at least full hour incriment.

An easy way to convert military time is just subtract the number by 12.
13:00 - 12 = 1pm
22:00- 12 = 10pm and so on.

Um, no one was whining. I saw a few people, myself included, make a joke post about what might change. Get a sense of humor.

Btw, once the maintenance is over, they will list a Version Update with what changed, just like they did last week for the local leve change that happened.

Which instantly had people ******** that SE hasn't done anything for the game recently and demanding all the expected updates as if there were supposed to be in that maintenance. I'm sure the same thing will happen again.

I hope the update notes today will read:

"We fixed a bug that was introduced with last version update.

An issue with turning in leves where leves do not get exchanged but removed from the npc and added to your total taken leves was fixed."

1. Whinging isn't whining (though it's similar)

2. I noted the sense of humor in the posts where I saw it by rating those posters up

3. While it's true that sometimes they do fix things during maint, it's not a given. If they fix stuff, cool. If not, oh well. The problem is people expecting everytime the servers go down that they'll have "ooooooh shiny!" when they log back in.

4. I have a sense of humor... Go find another thread where CroBudi's posting and OT the crap out of it.

*EDIT* Here's the definitions to make things more clear

whinge (hwnj, wnj)
intr.v. whinged, whing·ing, whing·es Chiefly British
To complain or protest, especially in an annoying or persistent manner

whining present participle of whine (Verb)
a. Give or make a long, high-pitched complaining cry or sound.
b. Complain in a feeble or petulant way

Not ONE person in this thread ******* about that. There was one complaint about it being during primetime, and that's it. Every other poster either speculated as to what would change, or made a joke/sarcastic post (some of whom were actually rated down). Had this been a different thread, the response would have been more justified, but here it was completely unnecessary.

Both are talking about complaining, and the only complaint I saw was about it being during primetime, which I actually took as a somewhat sarcastic post. I just really don't like it when people use the "Quit whin(g)ing" mentality, especially when noone is even doing it. I basically look at it as someone whining about someone who they think is whining, which to me is FAR worse.

WTH is that even supposed to mean?

Look at the bolded bit, then look where the prime time complaint poster is from >.>

The last bit was directed at your argument on another thread that spans 2 pages, of which a few of your comments I rated up until the "discussion" totally derailed the whole thread. I'm in no way trying to compare you to Ostia... that's intentional derailment. Just saying some times it's better for the forum if we ignore those who attempt to **** us off.
