This is a short (but sweet)call to all Final Fantasy true believers, you know who you are...

I have been inspired to write a short call to like minded people all over the earth to keep your faith in this game. The potential is so so huge. If you havn't noticed, the MMORPG world isn't flooded with great, inspiring and alternate worlds for us to explore and take part in making great. Sure, Wow is fun...but do you really escape in a world filled with cartoon characters? This game has the potential to be the most beautifully crafted and diverse interactive world that us as online gaming fans have ever experienced. Was it released too soon? Maybe. But what better way to craft a world of escape and digital distraction than to lay the ground works, and then let its inhabitants have the final say in how things should play out? Obviously that wasn't SE's initial plan (though it should have been) but we now find ourselves in the unique position of having an actual say in how the second half of the development of this experience goes. I'm sure i'm not the only one leveling up jobs and crafts with the confidence that this game is not going to die. I wouldn't be playing it if I wasn't sure it was going to succeed. But i'm also not convinced that it will succeed without our help. My inspiration for starting this thread is exactly that: This game will only succeed on the backs of like minded people who know that if they don't step up and take part in its creation, don't push forward and take part in its final stages of birth, that it will vanish. Im drunk so this is all a little disjointed, but basically, i'm trying to say that we all have an opportunity here (SE is listening to us because they are somewhat of a laughing stock at the moment, a position they are not used to having) and the groundwork for a very great game has been laid. If every one if its current players takes an active roll and believes that it really can succeed, it will. Don't tell me you havn't thought while playing that if they just changed this or just added that, it could be great. We all know what needs to change. We just need to have confidence that they are listening and that these changes we think would be so easy to implement actually will happen. I think they can and will. So get active. Be constructive with your criticism with this idea that SE is actually listening and that if said changes actually occur, Eorzea could be the greatest, most engrossing world ever created. Sorry, i'm wasted, hopefully someone can sum this up better, assuming you all agree (you should, i think). word. FF fo Life!!

My eyes are hurting now thanks.

But anyways, SE has stated a few times now that they are reading what the players are posting about the game and what the players would like to see add/taken away.

I believe the feedback forums would be a great place for you and others to say what you would like to say and tell them what you would like to see this year and many years from now.

Thanks, I think so too. I'm kinding writing to people who complain but actually have good ideas. It seems like most complain thinking that things will never change and I would like to see the tone of that criticism directed toward actually making the game better. I think people sometimes forget that SE actually want's this game to succeed and that if it doesn't it has the potential to greatly tarnish their reputation. We really do have an amazing opportunity here. Have we been handed a perfectly polished gaming experience here? For sure not. But do we have an incredibly successful company with lots of money invested listening to us and striving every day to make something that people will pay to play? For sure!! Come on people!! Get inspired!!

Don't be sorry. I get cranky on my 12hr shifts and say bad things sometimes lol.

like I said above head over to the feedback page and tell the people what you think will make this game greater than it is already.

I happen to think that this game is a good game and that it could become a great game over the next few months/years. Not over the next few days. It's going to take sometime.

If this is directed to me I would like to make it clear that my reaction to your post has nothing to do with it's length or content, just lack of pontuation and brak spaces which makes it much harder to read.

I actually don't minf lengthy posts at all, just would prefer to be able to read them without ruining my eyesight :)

I AM drunk. But i probably wouldn't otherwise take the time to express this opinion of mine and at least a few responses, constructive or not, may attract one or three other people to read this and chime in on the point. I have high hopes for this game and am excited that we have the opportunity to take part in the crafting of the Eorzea experience. Sure, people are bound to take shots at this post and the state it was crafted in (<-drunk), but that doesn't change the fact that we, as players, have an enormous opportunity to actively take part in its creation. I can't think of any other game that has had so much backing and reputation and has had so many faithful players riding on its success. I for one am willing to step up and try and make it a success. I think its worth it. Alright, i'm done for the night. If i'm totally off base, so be it. I'm going to go play. word.

I don't know about escape, but I'm not entirely sure escape comes before fun when it comes to video games.
