This guy completely gets it..
Not only are they adding quests for us, considering an auction system, adding ranks to gear etc.. but exploring the implementation of jump? This just .. oh I could cry tears of joy. It's not something that the game needs right now, but I think all the naysayers will be pleasantly surprised at how convenient and dynamic this will be. This opens up possibilities of some serious quick thinking in endgame battles, friendly pvp, and just overall leveling in general. Not having to run around a 2 foot ledge is going to be absolutely amazing and a real turning point for the FF series imo. I'm sorry if this upsets anyone, but I for one am extremely excited for what this opens up for us as players.
Going back to the original names possibly is awesome too. I miss that FF feel and nostalgia. The classes to me were a big part of that. When I'm talking to my buddy about my Archer or Pugilist I often refer to them as Monk or Ranger on accident, and choose purposely not to correct myself. To me that's what they'll always be.
I don't want to jump the gun, but even if it takes them 6 months to a year to really get all this stuff implemented, this truly could be the greatest mmo of all time; at least for me. Plans for 2 new updates per month, more communication, and epic plans for the future. I feel like a kid in a candy store. Thank you Yoshida and the dev team. This is excellent, excellent news.
p.s. Sorry for all the people I upset by creating a new thread in a public forum pertaining to news about a series I love. I'm just excited, ya know?
