Hi i currently have a EVGA GTX470 and well does anyone else experience issues with excessive amount of jagged lines

Im running the game atm at High Highest 9/10 and 3/5 Shadows Set to Low in Fullscreen 1080p and the MSAA is set to 8XQMSAA but im still experiencing a lot of jagged lines on objects like walls or when running around in Ul'dah is this a known issue or is it just that the Graphical drivers are bad or that the game is not optimized for this my old gpu 9600M GT had no jaggies :/

Happens to me with my SLI480s. Random transparent jagged lines in walls, shadow glitches, texture glitches, vertical lines in HP/TP bars, etc.

That said, I just installed the new Nvidia drivers last night, so hopefully those address the issue.

Is it the shadows? If so anything but High or Highest shadow quality seems to net some very odd jaggies and wave patterns.

I don't have any problems with my 470's and any of the recent drivers.

The pictures you posted in the other thread... I don't have any issues like that what so ever. Is your card over heating?

The closest thing I can think of is when you zoom in on plants, plants are very sloppy up close but look good from a distance. I think they tried to use the same technique a lot of FPSs use. Unfortunately when you zoom in on plants you get to hear your GPU fan ramp up.

no it is not overheating if you can consider 75c high lol.... could be that SE was just lazy to make textures high resolution and make it look good at a distance but up close it,s true colors show lol

No that's not overheating. However I don't have anything that looks even close to that even with the plants. The rocks and earth are still detailed up close. Somethings wrong with your settings, drivers, or your card.

Not having this issue on my SLI 460's or my single 480. Most likely a driver issue. I'm still using the 265.90 Quadro drivers and they work flawlessly.
