A Quick Message From State AlchemistFollow

#1 Jan 24 2011 at 8:06 PM Rating: Excellent
I apologize in advance if this is a completely unnecessary thread.

I just wanted to let everyone know, that I just finished my update on my guide (which had been quite outdated fror a while.) I have now streamlined the guide for skilling up. I geared it towards serious grinders, assuming that casual grinders will prob still semi-follow it, but doing their own thing how it suits them best.

I also added a one-stop list for all the recipes that make shards and crystals, sorted by rank. (I also assumed that some players may just use this section to grind to 50 as well, if they are avid fisherman.) I hope that this makes a difference in helping you make shards or crystals easier.

I realize I may have made some mistakes or errors, so please feel free to leave me a reply or send me a message with any corrections.

Also, I have not been on the forefront of Alchemy for a long time now due to school and work and family stuff, so I may not know of a much easier recipe to grind on. If you know of one, please let me know, and I will consider adding it to the guide if it proves quite useful.

Sorry again if this thread is unnecessary but I just wanted to get this info out to the general community, in case it may peak someones interest.

Happy synthing!

Any additional route for 25-30?

It has been one week, that I search in market daily, and nobody ever sell maple sap in any cities. I really not plan to play botanist too, because I have 5x DoH to rise atm.

Black ghosts and other tier three fish should give you pretty decent XP till 30.

I would just use the supplementary shard/crystal guide below the skill up guide to be honest...prob gonna be some of the easier recipes to do.

One of your recipes is wrong:
41 Lightning Crystal x24→ Lightning Crystal x2 + Black Sole x1

This creates x6 crystals, not 24.

You also seem to be missing the Rank 36 quest in the guide.

Edit:

As for 25-30, I did a lot of lanolin and buffalo dye.

Thanks for the correction. I haven't actually done the r36 quest yet... lol, but I should be doing it soon so I will add the info when I get it done.
