As of right now I'm working horrendous hours at work that more than likely won't change within the year (new building opened up and I'm needed usually 12+ hours a day). It's made me *attempting* to enjoy this game **** near impossible because there's no one to play with that is actually on at my times (midnight to 2-3 AM, Eastern time zone).

Are there any linkshells out there that have more than 2 people online at this hour (that aren't bazaaring)? I'm currently in a linkshell on Mysidia but no one's ever online that isn't AFK at these hours. The grind's boring enough as it is, but leveling is even worse when there's almost *never* anyone online to share leves with to speed up the process.

Sorry for posting this in General, but it would be moronic to post this into every single server forum and is more efficient just to make one where the majority of people might see it.

I do not care what server you are on: I currently only have maybe 300K gil on my character and am not very advanced so starting over is not a problem. I'm just tired of logging on and seeing nothing but bazaar camps in either of the cities and with maybe 2-5 people altogether out mining/harvesting during my one-two hour period of being online.

I would prefer a LS that is rather 'open' but doesn't need to be GLBT (yes, I've had a toon in Wanderlust before anyone responds, and no one's on during my times -- which isn't their fault at all). At least a handful of people online would be nice; I'd like to actually be able to group up with people even if it's just mindlessly zerging leves; at least talking on Vent would actually make it enjoyable.

***** here too... We have a few players in our LS that are in the UK so are often (but not always) on at those times. I won't lie - it isn't hugely busy - but I am a night owl so will be on that late occasionally and notice we often have Perrin, and Chade on at those hours (plus the occaisional night owls like myself, Ari, and Kirby)

You might be best off just seeking a EU shell, however.

I thought about that, even considered it since I play that game as well. However, being as I have no desire to start over as a raid tank (and don't want to play that game if I can't raid), I didn't bother. I'm not too sure how that would work here as well, considering the 'region lock' SE is trying to go for here as well (if that's even a problem).

Me me me I'm your gal StrijderVecther..! :D

My playtime is usually around 10pm - midnight PST weekdays (a bit more flexible during weekends)

I too would like to find a LS/group/community that share the same playtime.. Perhaps we can start one up if there are enough people out there sharing the same delimma? As you can see I'm a newb so I wouldn't mind restarting at another server if needed ^_^
