This has probably been asked a thousand times, so forgive me, but I couldn't find the answer. Where are screenshots stored that are taken in-game?

Not to hijack the thread or anything, but every time i check there, the folder is completely empty. Is this because i play in windowed mode, and therefore, it is not recognized as a ffxiv screenshot? (I can still take screenshots, the only way i can use them though is by simply pasting it into photoshop).

I believe in your case you're only using PrtScrn, whereas for the game to process a screenshot, you must also hold down the ScrLk button as well as PrtScrn, since this hides the HUD, and you will hear an audible camera click.

Oh, I thought this was going to be a "guess where this screenshot was taken" game. I would have made it really difficult and stood in front of, say, one of the 72 copy-pasted grassy knolls in the Black Shroud (next to a Marmot!) and kept everyone guessing! XD

And I thought this was going to be a suggestion to have an option to put your location on your screenshots--e.g. (17, 36) Thanalan. Don't know why that was the first thing that came to mind, but I think that would be a neat option--a sort of virtual geotag.

Does anyone have any experience with a keyboard with out a Scrlk button for taking screenshots so that it will go into my screenshots folder? Any other button combination that will work? Thanks in advance.
