Weekend Goals = Results? (31/01/11)Follow

#1 Jan 31 2011 at 12:08 AM Rating: Excellent
After ambitiously posting the following on the goal thread...:

Quote:

* MRD 22 -> 24
* GSM 20 -> 21
* PUG 41 -> 42

I may do some other things, but those would be the main focus ^^

...I only ended up getting my GSM +1 Rank due to:

* NM Fights
* Sleeping early for work
* Not really playing a lot...which could be a good thing :p

Time to set for lower heights next time a weekend comes around...

I've equalised my 3 main crafts now so i have 2 goals

MRD -> 40
ALC -> 31

Gonna have to chop chop chop Maple

Hit fatigue on MRD on friday night ine the middle of dunesfolf -.-. 12K sp off r40 so without fatigue and with a little grinding I coulda made it. ALC I got r28 - 30, but i farmed enough Sap and sheepskin to get to r31 so not too bad

Hit 25 on the pickaxe and 18 on the hatchet, not bad for couple of leves. Happy to finally unlock the Rank 30 zones for mining leves. Oddly enough, the battleleves for the Rank 30 camps opened up too. My PUG is only 21.

Completed the Goldsmith Rank 20 quest which was a nice break from grinding.

Got bored and ran around collecting a few crystals, 6 more locations added to the teleport list.

Father-in-law is in town, but I am still going to try for:
Weaver 20,
Complete the Blacksmith and Weaver quest,
Gladiator 28,
and Physical 46...

Heres to wishing!

Yup, turned out Father-in-law > FFXIV...
Only ~1/2 through Physical 45
Only 1/2 way through 19 on Weaver.
Gladiator made it to 28
and I did at least get the Blacksmith quest done (definitely the easiest of the R20 Quests).

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

I'd like to get enough SP for a book in Leather and maybe a 2nd for Goldsmithing... I squeaked in my 1st Alchemy book yesterday. Technically I should be able to nail 3 sets of locals this weekend so we'll see.

Otherwise I have a pretty busy weekend IRL so I doubt I'll be able to do any DoW leveling, but you never know.

Well I got 1 PL got 25k SP on PGL still didn't get a book for TAN almost enough for a 2nd on GLD nailed a few ranks on WVR and got a few GMs and finally started cooking as my Alchemy leves seem to be requiring it more.

So in a way I more than accomplished my goals. Color me happy.

Didn't hit ARM 46 like I had planned :( I did make 45 from 44 though.

There were too many other things happening outside of the game this weekend.

I know I didn't... 9 Battlecraft leves and I didn't turn yellow until the last mob on the 9th 1... it was well wierd. I did have to repair my crafting gear 2x though >.<

I wanted CRP43-45, WVR40-42, THM33-34.

My computer crashed 6 times Saturday, I rolled back graphics drivers, crashed 2 more times, and it was magically fixed. I don't like problems I can't learn from. ><

I got CRP43-44, THM33-34. Very disappointed, but I did manage to Hasty Hand another 3,000 wind shards, so that's something.
