List one, and only one, thing you want to be implemented the most in the next patch!

I want Chocobos! Would love to be able to ride my bird again and save on some anima since that is one of the things that slows me down from checking out new areas/mobs. Level requirement/fee is fine by me.

NPC quests. Lots of them. And something more rich than:

Worgen! My father had warned me that Archmage Arugal's creations had run amok.
But where are they coming from?
I suppose it doesn't matter. Help us make quick work of them. We'll show them what we Gilneans are made of!

QUESTS. Story quests, mini-quests, anything that has me doing more than killing harmless wildlife.

Near-future patches:

- Class expansion and refinement.. things are too bland, IMO.
- Chocobos
- Auction House
- Fix repair system
- Fix action bars

Story Quests! or More Storyline!

Seriously why do i need Chocobos now, and other stuff when I'm almost at end game, and doing my other jobs to see job quests and i got like 2~3 chapters of storyline at best T_T When I finish all that (could be till end of this month) I literally won't have anything to do in Eorzea and be bored as **** D: I really don't want that...

Btw. This

Mog residences. Fully upgradable, and more than just a dinky room like we had in FFXI.

1. Hi Janine!!!! Long time no see ^_~
2. I'd say side-quests. They expand the lore of the game, and they have an opportunity to give some creative rewards.
If I COULD pick 2
3. Company implementation/housing. The idea of a company battleship sounds awesome.

The company idea is cool, I would love to hang out in a ship or building instead of our afk spot. I hope they do something with it eventually. Only drawback i see as far as afk goes is random crafters coming by for gear repair. See u online!

Challenging party based content.

Could be more NM's, instanced dungeons, BCNM's, Missions/quests that are actually difficult and require 6-15 people, etc. Anything along those lines would be great. Even if it was low level stuff with a level cap, that'd be fine too.

Plenty of other stuff I'd like to see too, but that's definitely top of my list.

Retail NPC's at all camps to sell drops/gathered items. One at entrance to market too.

Sneak/invisible.
Party roles for DoL/DoH......didn't SE say they would be able to party?
Mog house.
Gardening (I miss the anticipation of what I've grown and it was my main source of income in XI)
Chocobo (mainly for safe passage to remote camps for leves.....mob placement makes it tricky to sneak there)

I send an Eletter each week stressing the importance of a turtle mount included with other types to choose from when they release horsebirds.

If it works like social security, eventually they'll cave in.

Not everyone wants to ride a dirty horsebird you know.

Chocobos and Airships.
Quests that are more like FFXI. Not the ones like we currently have.
Missions/Instances that require groups to down a boss.

Not really a priority, but would like to see this soon:

Opening of the current areas and other zones. There are lots of places in thanalan (to use an example) that are blocked off...such as green towers with fences around them in northern thanalan. Also the world map is pretty big with lots of potential zones, i'd like to do more exploring!

Since the next patch is going to be a small fix-it-up patch, I'm going to go with the ability to bind keys however I choose, including gamepad buttons. Less directional pad pounding the better.

Even if I can only use 4 extra buttons on the PS3 controller for abilities, putting the 4 most used ones would be huge in making this game more fun because I'll actually be able to watch the fight. Way too much combat log watching and time spent moving along the action bar.

I will say this - I never got to do chains of promathia... just never had the group to do it. It is one of my big gaming sad faces. I feel like it with it being non capped now that it is something I will never do the way it was made to be done - but anyway - I would like to see something like that - something epic. Yeah I know this is more than "next patch" but that is what I want them to be stepping towards because kill 10 bats is not doing it for me.

I want challenging, level-capped, mid-size party (prolly 7 or 8 or 9 member max) content with an awesome, 100% drop reward at the end.

*Quests

*Low,mid, and high Level NMs with nice drops that are good for a bunch of levels like leaping lizzy, spiny spipy, bubbling bernie.. Bring them back!

*Ranked gear

*More mobs

*Fix battle and input delays. The lag is ridiculous.

*The ability to just right click items to sell to vendors and equip gear.

*Beastmen

*Some kind of capped event like BCNM with drops.

*Jump (***** you I like it)

*More epic gear that actually stands out. Not Crab Bow +1 but like Bow of the Strata or something awesome like that. Etc.

*Airship, Chocobos (I'd love to see other mounts, but this I highly doubt we'll see)

*Everything else that will make this game excellent.

Sorry I cheated, I couldn't pick.

This is the stupidest idea I have ever heard, and I have heard it from multiple people. Just because crafting jobs are called "classes" means in no way that they should partake in battles. I once read a thread about a guy saying miner/smithers should be able to telepathically communicate with rocks to attack enemies. This is a retarded idea. Crafting is a profession, a way to make money. It is not meant to be a means of fighting. Get over the fact that not all "classes" cannot engage in battle.

Quests, more quests with some QUESTS on top of them. I wouldn't mind having some quests on the side as well.

At this point I really don't care if they introduce a class with flying chocobo mechas that shoot rays out of it's hypothetical nipples. I just want some **** quests that is ALL thank you.

The other issues are SO minor compared to the lack of quests that they really should stop messing with everything else they are working on and focus 100% on giving the world more sense of place and story with quests.

More than anything else right now...

QUESTS!!! Just regular and "unimportant" quests, which will show(or rather encourage me) me more of the world of Eorzea and give me more backround information about the people living in the city, who rules the city etc pp.

And other then that, maybe 1-2 more Class Quests for now(maybe at 40/42 and 46/48)
The last class quest could also give you a new class specific ability, which is only usable by that class and is kinda similiar to 2H abilities in FFXI, or just something that defines your role in a Group a bit more and makes you more "unique".

But most over all, just Quests in general.

TBH, while I would love to have some added quests I'm cynical enough to believe that it'll translate as more leves which I really can't be bothered with at the moment. (I won't complain if more gets added, but it's not high up on my list of things I really really want). Rather, I want expanded LS functions--- some way to kick inactive players that have quit the game without having to have them logged on and next to you would be something I'd like to see added. And best of all, it's simple and I don't think it will alter the game mechanics in any way so it should be easily implemented.

Barring that, I guess I'm going to jump on the "anything to distract me from the behest/leves grind" bandwagon.

For the next after the next:

_ Fix the TAB fuction (target enemy only)
_ Fix gear duration
_ Chocobo
_ Advanced class
_ Tradecraft rolle in party
_ NPC quest (with decent reward)

More Leves!! - naw just kidding. Now that the battlefield is set up with NM, I think the time for content is now. Just about 20 simple, class neutral quests with nice unique item rewards should do the tricks. From hereforth in though, I would like to see new roaming NMs added EVERY patch until our frontlines are filled with unique mobs.

And how about some new (and good)unique tools in the 15-30 range, I'm sure alot of people could use them right now.

I think it would be cool to have missions where your whole party's captured, and items/armor/weapons are temporarily taken away from the whole party. You would have to fight weak monsters like coblyns to collect ores or puks to collect cotton bolls to have the crafters of the party create temporary weapons and armor so the party can progress through the tougher mobs of the mission. Of course treasure chests that contain materials around the dungeon would work too.

There are so many things that I want, but if I really had to pick just 1 above all, it would be quests. And I mean truly unique quests, not the typical quest where it tells you to "go to point X and kill Y mobs standing there and go talk to NPC Z to finish the quest."

Another battle system fix is they could add a macro tag like <st> where it lets you select your party member using the vertical party list and up/down d-pad keys. The fights would have more of a FF feel, the PS3's analog turning of the camera is too slow in these fast pasted fights and I'm usually locked on anyway.

Even from just two days of playing, I can tell that having everything go through leves is going to be a bit frustrating. NPC story quests is a must, and I think it's the most important thing to get people to start coming back to the game and keep the momentum going forward, since I've been following the game since I played in the beta, even though I hadn't been able to play until this week.
