Better Link Shell Management system.

Ability to remove and manage member when they are offline or at different locations in the game

Many of our members have left the game but we can't remove them as they never log on now, plus I don't see the relevance of the distance restrictions to LS management it just make everything tedious. Most LS look like a ghost town because of this in ability to remove ex/ left members when they are offline or when they are not nearby

Ability to switch quickly between Linkshell chatroom for player with multiple Libnkshells

It has been suggested before that you should be able to auto/macro switch between LS chat by just /l[1] or /l[2] etc... without having to requip the linkshell pearl. Again this just make chatting and communicating easier for all and less tedious

Have a chat tab on the information menu

There already a general and battle tab on the info menu. Can the Dev add a chat tab to show only chat information please. Many a times while we are chatting in game there comes a time when a series of info is displayed simultaneously on either the general or battle tab that you miss what the other players are saying. By have a separate tab for chat info this would make communication and keeping up with the topic much easier for all

Level Sync

It about time FF14 had a level or rank sync function so you can form and manage partying easier again. It was such an innovative idea in 11 I can't understand why it was not brought to 14 to begin with. This will help LS to form LS parties and organise so in LS gaming fun. Develop LS comradery and fellowship

Thank you for listening, take care

Well, I'm not a big player of FFXIV because my first time motivation went down. I was a big player of FFXI though.

As I agree with the most "popular" fixes wanted, like more game content, quests & such... there's something I dont see much mentionned but that is for me very important...

Go back to a rank capped gear system ! (when I say "go back" I mean, as it was in FFXI).

I dont understand how you guys can find the motivation to lvl your jobs... while wearing a gear that's already 15 ranks above your current rank. There's no goal in term of gears... you get almost everything you want whenever you want.

I mean, besides being able to do more things, get more abilities, more hps/mps... what was really motivating me to lvl in FFXI was to "unlock" new gear !!! Right now in FFXIV I wear a gear that's like 15-20 ranks above my current rank... and despite the stats penalties, it's still more interesting for me than a gear of my current rank... It's so stupid ! When first playing FFXI, what was really making me "dream" was to see people wearing lvl 50-75 gear. In FFXIV gear doesnt mean anything anymore... Am I the only one to find it really sad ?

I understand it's helpful because you dont have to carry a thousand different gears while lvling jobs of different ranks... but I'm bored of trying all gears of all lvls and check my stats to see which one is better. Why make an "optimal rank" stat for gears if most of the upper lvl gears will still be better ?

I'm not saying it's the only thing that needs to be changed... but added to more content it would really make me come back into the game. I seriously dont understand, if you look at most rpg games, gear unlocking is a common goal to lvling, dont understand why it's not one in FFXIV.

I agree with you. Also with gear rank restrictions I think there would be more gear for lower ranked characters. Recently I created my character on a new server and it was pain trying to find gear for ranks 1-20 and even if I wanted to buy rank 50 gear, most of it was too expensive for me to afford at the time.

there are so many things i would love to see in next patch, but if i had to pick it would be complet rework of the battle system, remove stamina bar, give us auto-attack, allow mages to use all their magic, remove mob territories, allow more than one target without sp penalty...
I'm sorry i forgot to quote but I do love the idea of increasing the level of behest mobs, posted on pg one i think, harder fights so that everyone has to work, no standing at the back doing nothing and still getting sp!

I agree. I think we could see the biggest improvement in this area.

Again, I agree. Through a little reworking we could see a modified BS that didnt cause me to buy a new keyboard because my '1' button broke. Honestly, I never even touched my '1' button except on the NUM pad before FFXIV. THey would have to modify how weaponskills worked, and possibly recasts on some abilities, but seriously the action bar just isn't doing it for me. At least give me the option of menu casting.

Embershayze wrote:
Remove mob territories.

Sorry but I disagree with this. Maybe a little tweaking, but I don't want a mob continuously killing me as i revive at the aetheryte.

Embershayze wrote:

Yes, please. Use the same system as FFXI in this case. I should be able to make full use of AoE abilities without penalty, since SE feels the need to shove so many of these abilities up my Moogle.

Agree with most of this. Battle system is not fun or exciting in XIV. Don't like the stamina bar, would like auto-attack back for the basic attack and would like mages to be able to choose from an entire list of spells that grows as they level (wouldn't mind if they had to BUY the spells, rather than having them be given) and more varied, meaningful weapon skills for melees. Seriously, Skewer, Trammel, Moonrise... pretty much entirely interchangeable for me.

A feature that lets you save actions abilities for each job without the use of macros.

i.e. when you equip hand-to-hand weapon all your actions abilities are set automatically to your last configured setting. Then you switch to a sword and your action bar automatically sets to last configured sword settings, etc.

Aside from the obvious storyline quests, chocobo and other things already mentioned.....

Here is what I would like to see added..

"Unique" weaponskills available to specific jobs. I would be all for NM weaponskill quests that reward epic weaponskills. But please fix the crappy annimations!! Really sucks having multiple skills all with the same annimation lol.

I remember while playing XI the 1st time I saw a DRK use "Guillotine". I fell in love with that skill lol and started lvln DRK :) It was a long haul and I know that wasnt one of the questable weaponskills but you get my point. It was a great sense of accomplishment unleashing such skills and watching the annimation that follows. Think back to all the high lvl weaponskills XI offered and with the updated graphics of XIV, having similar actions imo would be a thing of beauty :)

So please SE......."Unique" Weaponskills with enhanced annimation, YES PLEASE!!!!!!!

A few things that i would love to be changed in priority (apart from the obvious need of quests of course):

-Gear with cap rank so I'm looking forward to new gears (although I pretty much do that and only equip gears with optimal rank lower than or equal to my rank.)

-Get rid of the repair system or change it a lot!

-Give me a yellow bird after I get my licence from a quest :-D

-Make most of the animation for skills/spells/battle regimen more impressive. Where is the light with the angel coming down from the sky when I raise someone?

The most urgent things for me, we'll see after next update for the rest :D

More quests, speficily I like the idea of a combination of odd job quests for NPCs about town (based on current job) and city/faction side story quests doable without belonging to said city or faction... Maybe some kind of mercenary guild. *stops rambling*

Something interesting to do while one is not leveling.

second prioroty for me would be the airships/chocobos
and third I would love to see more casualy seeded ingame lore, readable books, gossiping NPCs, ect.

A side note, I'de like them to stop trying to make "****" outfits for female characters, or at least try to keep it somewhat classy. A few nice looking dresses... *grumbles*
