Not sure, I know quite a lot about PCs but not really a lot about graphics cards and how they work. I personally have a nvidia gtx 460 and would love to know a recommended list of settings for ffxiv so i can have a good balance between graphics and performance. FOr me though it may be a problem more with the fact that im still runnng an amd 5000+ processor, so i think my biggest prob is there. hopefully i an get a new phenom cpu soon.

Fun fact:

Anti aliasing is a technique which increases the screen resolution ( 2x ,4x , 8x etc.) and then scales it down again to fit your selected resolution.

example: running at 1400x900 (126000 pixels) resolution with 2x AA actually renders the game at 2520000 pixels but then scales it down to its original resolution when being drawn to screen-space again.

What resolution do you run the game at and how much anti-aliasing?
