i recently wanted to buy a laptop so I can play FFXIV on the move and any other games I may wish to play.

However I have never used a laptop for gaming and I am just wondering if this machine that I have built through Sony would be enough to play?

Thanks for your help!

That should be plenty enough to play. I play on a lesser desktop and have no qualms about the graphics. My biggest concern with laptops and FFXIV would be heat dissipation.

Yes but he's planning on playing with a laptop. I am playing with a laptop that has a 1GB graphic card and I can run it only at low settings not to have it too slow. I don't have the spec of my laptop right now. Maybe you can try the benchmark and see your score.

To add to those, if you can get this DeLorean up to 88 MPH, you'll be able to play this game in 2019 when they've finally implemented mounts.

Go find a sony store that carries it and do the benchmark test for the game

I am not sure it will run at a satisfactory level with the specs you have listed.

If they don't let you run the benchmark take that as your indicator to look somewhere else

also if gaming on a laptop please be nice to it and buy a cooler pad or fan something
like this

you'll thank me in the long run ^^

Edit Asus has some good gaming laptops that are affordable that can run the game uber easilly
