So I just did "where the goat goes" leve at cedarwood. I was on my 21 glad so i figured it would be good SP....the mobs were blue to me, 2 at a time and I am rank 21 and they are blue to me. The each gave me 107 sp. How in the **** is this a R30 leve?

Where's the Meat is another disappointingly easy leve at that location...

Until you get familiar with the difficulty of each leve, your best bet is to always start off at two or three stars if soloing and lower the difficulty if you have to.

Also, stay away from Yarz on Me at Cedarwood and Antling Invasion at Nanawa Mines. they're the opposite, insane difficulty and not very good SP.

lol... I remember a while back when leveling my con, I beat the goat one in 20-30 seconds, and then got horribly crushed for 30 minutes trying to solo the spider one... Needless to say I started doing my leves in uldah/grid. :P

So in need of a little balance... XD

Oh, the ones at bald knoll can be just as bad... Like there's a def leve, where it's like one wolf, then oh look, some lvl 10 sheep on a r40 leve, alright w/e... then 5 mins of waiting... Then victory music! ... wait, what? x.x

And in contrast, the next leve will send you down to that one sandy pit, where you fight an increasing number of floating eyes on a defense leve... Not that bad, except for DOZENS OF SPIDER AND ELE AGROS... ~.~

But whatever, I had some laughs with some of the leves like that before... At first... Now I rarely touch leves. :P

Like the Wight one (Wight Stuff maybe?) at Horizon. It's a pain to solo 5 star even at R33

Unfortunately, some leves just suck, particularly at Cedarwood. The only leve that I even bother doing at Cedarwood is Lightsome Verdure. This leve, while difficult at lower levels, has the potential for huge SP gains. With three links and at 5 stars (with Guardian's Aspect on) @rank 32 we were still getting over 600 sp per mob. The object is to get the mobs to drop Necrologos pages and the longer it takes for the pages to drop, the more SP your group will get. My static took this leve all the way to rank 50, making sure we failed on the last mob so we could get it every reset. There are 2 more leves with similar objectives: Inferno (at Cassiopea Hollow), and Levinshower (at Nophica's Wells), these will give the exact same SP per mob as Lightsome Verdure and if done in a group, under the new sp system, then they should net you and your friends quite a lot of SP.

There's also Necrologos: Moon's Mistress in Mun-Tuy Cellars that's the same as Lightsome, Inferno and Levinshower.

I just did "A Leg Up" at Camp Horizon. The cactuars either die in three hits (and give me 130sp at at rank 22) or they one-shot me with 1000 needles. I must remember never to accept this levequest ever again.

Wow Syl, I knew that there had to be another similar necro in Gridania but I havent been able to find it because I avoid Gridania like the black plague. But, tyvm for the info, it's good to know.
