Right Of Passge Size?Follow

#1 Feb 13 2011 at 2:19 AM Rating: Decent
Ive been trying to find online what is the exact size of the Right Of Passage certificate so i can fame it instead of leaving it lying around.
I was told by a friend its 8x10 but i found out the hard way its a bit larger than that.
I currently don't have the tools for measuring it so does anyone know for sure?

I started the process to claim mine before the game had finished updating/installing. At the time, I backed out of the window without knowing what I was doing, and now I can't claim mine because it says the code's already been used. I'm not exactly heartbroken over a lost sheet of paper, but I'm a little annoyed at the system.

Some people got mugs covered in mold... so, I guess you should resolve to just be happy that SE decided not to try and poison you.

And you also don't own a single piece of standard paper to compare it to? Are you in jail or on a deserted island or something?

Which means:
No i don't have any paper at the moment.

I don't have to explain why i can't measure something but since many people find it more important to belittle someone here is why:
I am currently doing some remodeling, cleaning out crib and replacing my old equipment for reasons i cannot get state.
My tools are being replaced and refurbished at the moment and are away from my reach.

the problem with people is we have to deal with people like you who obviously must wear velcro shoes. and sweatpants because i couldn't see you being able to wrap your brain around the concept of shoelaces, buttons, or zippers.

People just find it hard to believe that you don't have any items that probably every single other person here has (like standard paper). It's just odd, that's all. It would be like if I asked people to measure out a tablespoon of salt for me because I didn't have any measuring spoons or even any regular spoons for the table. No reason to get all bent out of shape about it. I think he was trying to be comical, not offensive.

For most people, having no measuring tools in no way implies having no paper. Paper isn't generally considered a measuring tool.

I didn't see much belittling so much as bafflement at not having any way to measure a piece of paper, even indirectly. Heck, I don't own much in the way of tools, and yet just within arm's reach I have a tape measure, a ruler, several thousand sheets of 8.5" x 11" paper, several hundred sheets of 1/4"-ruled graph paper, a computer monitor of known dimensions, a few books with labeled dimensions, about 2 dozen writing pads with labeled dimensions, and a box of q-tips (which are all 3" long).

To say nothing of the other two tape measures which I own, nor the various measuring tapes and at least two more tape measures in the house.

As an aside, how far can you really get in remodeling without a measuring device, anyway?

What do you expect? The fact of having no way to measure a piece of paper was by far the most interesting part of the OP - in fact the only interesting part, since you answered your own question in the first reply.

Nah, the most interesting thing about this thread is that someone is putting a lot of time and effort into framing a Right of Passage.

Ok ok, just for the fun of it: Don't you have a ***** and know its size? :-D. And if you're a girl, what about the size of you foot? OK... I got it: *leaves and slams the door behind*.

No one was belittling you, at least not about your inability to measure things. I'm currently belittling you for your knee-jerk and butthurt response to people wondering how you could possibly need help with this, however.

What's funny is that I found the answer to your question in a Google search that took less time than posting here, which suggests to me that you just didn't feel like answering the question on your own.

In the US, our shoe sizes are an obscure number with no real relation to any form of measurement :( I have no idea how long my foot is, but I wear a size 6 1/2. I always hated trying to buy shoes from Japan or Mexico or something. Have to break out the ruler and measure my foot.

Hey, no problem! I guess I'm so used to being around a lot of people who don't understand the American measurement system. Half my family is from Japan, my sister's family is from France, and I live 30 minutes from the border to Mexico. What I wouldn't give to just be like every other country and use the metric system for things /sigh.
