I have tried refreshing my IP. I am from Yorkshire in the UK, does anybody have this problem anywhere else, especially in the UK?

Firewalls can sometimes cause the client to glitch like this. Try turning them off then starting it again. You can also try just rebooting your computer and see if that works.

Are you on BT? I get this from time to time, but usually fully closing the game and relaunching fixes it. (I think everything but Virgin or whatever Cable internet provider uses BT lines any way)

Thanks for the replies.

I'm on Cornelia, this is the first time this has happened and has been like this for around 5 days now. I consider myself pretty tech savvy. Port forwarding has already been done, restarting etc etc lol, and I just can't seem to find a solution.

You didn't answer if you were with BT. It didn't have to do with the game, but a few of us couldn't get on ZAM or a few days because one of BTs sublets had a mass IP block for their users doing silly crap here. I don't know if it was contacting BT that fixed the issue or the good folks behind the scenes here that sorted the issue, but I know the morning after contacting BT that the issue was resolved.

It could be a similar thing to that, though I don't see SE mass baning IPs as it's not beneficial like it is for a forum website to do.

Either way, call you ISP and let them know the situation. Maybe they data capped you or some other behind the scenes BS.

I was under the impression you were using BT as an abbreviation for a server.

No friend, with Karoo. Probably twice as stupid and greedy as BT. Good idea I never thought to contact them, I think that now you mention the problem does lie with them.

Thanks for the reply as well as the idea.

I'd be interested to know if you can ping the log in server, unfortunately though I don't know the IP of that server.

Only thing I can think of left besides wiping and reinstalling is to do a manual reset of your modem :(

have you tried internetspeedtest.com or whatver to see if you have absurd packet loss or anything of that nature?

Absolutely at a loss here. Have done all of the above with no results, It's annoying because reinstalling it will take time and makes no sense. It appears the connection between me and FF14 is not right yet I can't find a thing.

My thanks again.

Open a command prompt and ping each one of these. You should not have any packet loss.

Thank you for your reply. I have re-installed and with no luck. I will take your advice of logging back in although I don't see how this works. I have no other options, can anybody else shine a light please.

Thank you.

I had the problem a few times as I stated before, here in Cambridgeshire. And what worked for me was closing out and immediately trying again. I never had it back to back or for an extended period of time.

Are you using a EU client or a US imported copy? Is your Square Members account set for the same nationality as your game?

I have an American Copy and an American SE Account
