Iam playing right now in Wutai server i have a question for players whith knowledge, if there is parties and camps in this game. I am a FFXI veteran and trying to play this game. i heard alot of people talking about getting in parties at level 20. I'm Confused right now because i really dont know how to look for people or even where to go to camps/places to grind sp/exp.

Any tips would be helpful, I'm even trying to know whats a good size of a party. and the classes needed.

thank you for reading this post and please post. :)

The easiest way to get a perty is to be at your camp around the hour mark so you can join the local Bahest.

You should also try and join a leve party in which you bring your leves to be done by everyone and also help everyone else doing theirs. Leve linking in this will also improve the ammount of SP/exp you gain per mob.

When doing leves, parties of 6 to 8 seem to give the best SP, party make up isn't that important since classes can play various roles. As long as your tank and healer know their roles you'll be fine. For grinding the best party size depends on your target, just use trial and error.

it is true leve linking and behest are and easy way to get sp and xp but if you are looking for a bit of a challenge...
Some places we've found,
N.Mines on coblyns levels15+ (duo 21's getting 200sp checking blue)
South of Cedarwood on Crabs - shouts tend to be 17+ lrg zerg parties
Raptors round the Boulder gate at 5 ppl 45+ about 250 a kill
South of Broken water the beastmen duo at 43 getting 230, long fight but at 5 ppl 35+ would think good xp
All of there are roaming parties, hopefuly static parties with a puller are to come!

I am having a really hard time finding something good to grind on with a party of 6-8 at R32.

Duoing seems to be very viable now, however.

When it comes to sitting around not doing anything for long periods of time, only being active for short windows, and marginal changes and sidegrades I'd say FFXI players were the perfect choice for politicians.

How about stuff in the 40-44 range from yg. Toads near Mistbeard, or Black/Blind Efts in Gridania?

No reason not to duo, basically. Both give the same SP and EXP.

Bottom line: Do not fight anything above 10 ranks from you.

Well, me (r10 pugilist) and another r10 pugilist went out to duo leves at camp drybone.

Here are the results off of one linked leve, with guardian's aspect:

Fun times... just wish it was always like this :P

That said, if your have a mage and a DD you can duo on puks in Nanawa mines for 20-40k/hour depending on how you kill. If it uses backflip, run around behind it and it will 9/10 times. This will decrease the need for mp use :)

Like Final Fantasy XI, the game specs will be extremely high for the time, but in about 5 years, an average machine can run it on max settings with little to no issues. Tanaka also expressed interest in making a benchmark program available.
