Items +1,+2,+3Follow

Well i don't have the time to search so am just going to ask.
By how much do the +1,+2,+3 stars on an item boost the respective stats,
i remember there being a post some were but i can remember.
I recall the "+" boosts the star stats by different amounts depending on
the rank but how much.

I think its either 5% per + or 10% per +

5%, but it will be rounded and it cant be lower than 1. For example, main stat is 1, 10 and 20, the bonus for all of them will be 1. However if main stat is 21, bonus will be 2.

For a shield R50 with Def: 63, Att: 30, Block: 90, what would the stats be if it was +1, +2?

It's 5% as stated. Check crafting tools +1/+2/+3. You will see that the stats rise exactly 5% per +.

Since I keep running into people in-game who have no idea about the benefits of HQ items I thought I'd share some info with you all.

After testing a myriad of NQ, +1, +2, and +3 items I have found that each stat which has a star by it gets a 5% bonus per star, the total bonus is then rounded up to the nearest whole number for each stat.

You can check this easily if you have any HQ armor or jewelry on you. With main hand tools and weapons you would need a NQ version to test it against.

Stat Bonus for +1
1-20 +1
21-40 +2
41-60 +3
and so on...

Stat Bonus for +2
1-10 +1
11-20 +2
21-30 +3
31-40 +4
41-50 +5
51-60 +6
and so on...

Stat Bonus for +3
1-7 +1
8-14 +2
15-20 +3
21-27 +4
28-34 +5
35-40 +6
41-47 +7
48-54 +8
55-60 +9
and so on...

This applies only to the stats with a star next to them and durability. This means that for a Copper Ring (almost all jewelry, actually) the bonuses to def, m.def, and eva are all +1 no matter if the item is a +1 or a +3. This also means that the Accuracy bonus doesn't increase for a HQ version.

If you aren't terribly concerned about def or eva (i.e. not a PGL, GLA, or MRD) then there isn't much reason to worry about those stats, therefore no real need for HQ armor and jewelry (though it comes in handy when you are soloing).

What is very important is having HQ tools, weapons, and shields (and, to a lesser degree, your throwing weapons and/or ammo).

Consider the fact that most weapons have an accuracy of 100 or more, this means that if you get a +1 of that weapon it's the equivalent accuracy bonus to wearing an extra rank 48 accuracy ring (without using up 4 jewelry slots), not to mention the extra damage, crit rate, etc..
