I have somewhat been using the ranks 13,23,&33 for my que that it is time for me to head to the next tier camp for leves, but i have run into a problem since hitting R33. I have found it incredibly hard to find a party around my rank at the R40 leve locations. It seams to be mostly much higher ranked people than me. I am also feeling a little awkward doing behest in these areas due to the vast rank spread. My experience in the R40 camps are currently limited to Broken Water and Halatali due to a severe anima shortage.
When I get the chance I will check out the La Norsca areas but I do not have the highest hopes for them do to the general lower traffic I have experienced in other areas out there.

Should I continue in the R30 areas or am i doing the appropriate thing by trudging it out in the R40 camps?

I Intend on playing for a few years to come so I don't wanna start ******* off people this early on.

You really need a static-ish party at around that rank, and best to avoid Uldah camps for now if you do have one such party. Reason is currently there is no r50 Camp and everyone r43+ will be stuck at r40 Camps, so you will rarely find a random party at your rank. LL or Grid Camps with a static-ish party around your rank, 4-8 people and you can find some reasonable SP at a nice pace, especially Behest (since most likely you get the whole behest to your own party only because it's much less crowded). Come back to Uldah once you're around R40, more chances to find reasonable partying by then.

I think I read in another thread that it's generally accepted that rank 35 is the minimum to start doing rank 40 Behest. I duo'd Broken Water (R40) leves this afternoon at rank 35, and got excellent SP. Both of us were rank 35.

Thanks. Sounds like I may need to find a more active LS.

So it wouldn't be frowned upon for me to stay in the R30 camps until R35?

That is correct. R30-35 is acceptable at R30 behests. :)

If you're down with grinding Copperbell Mines isn't a bad place to be at your rank.

R33 = Broken Water (37,39) and ignore Behest. You ingore not because people would hate but in sp gain it's really not worth it.

The best thing you can do is to latch onto a leve party. The next best thing is to grab 1 or 2 friends and go to copperbell mines and don't come out till you are 45.

My wife is "taking a break", but I solo at 31 in Copperbell mines (Coblyns there are great experience), as well as Camp Dragon Head (in Ceorthas), The Does, Karakul, Yarzon, and Goblins are great exp (gobs are a solid 300 SP a kill). And the third camp I have found that is great (especially if you have an alchemist) is Mistbeard Cove. The flan are REALLY squishy, and a fun change of pace for fighting a new mob.

Still not high enough to camp in Mor Dohna (there are two places where there are mobs a 30 can kill, but really not worth the trip). And ran out of SP, so I didn't find a camp in Gridania.

While all the places are possibly soloable (considering I am a med/high def Gladiator I can survive more than my wife's pug), they would be best to party with groups of 4 or less. Also, the dungeons can hold 2-3 parties, but Ceorthas can handle closer to 10+ parties (roughly 2 parties per area).

(lol, just realized I was posting under my wifes account)
