ok, i read yoshi-p's last letter and this stood out:

"I kept a close eye on how things went for the week or so following the release of 1.15a. Not surprisingly, the maximum number of members and levels of difficulty for behests were less than ideal. Therefore, in the coming days we'll be looking into further improvements to bonuses awarded when participating in groups of nine or more. For now, I'd be happy to think that we've already taken care of some balancing issues that relate directly to future content. Also, the amount of experience points awarded to Disciples of the Hand is a bit on the large side, and will be balanced to be more akin to those awarded to Disciples of War and Magic."

the underlined statement leads me to think something that i have not even considered: can DoH/DoL classes participate in Behests? that does not make sense to me because they would not be useful to the group having little to no offenseive capability. or am i mistaken by that sentence just being in the same paragraph that seems to be all about behests, and yoshi-p is just talking about making the amout of sp per sinth similar to that of a standard regular old run of the mill easy mob kill? it sounded silly to me, but then again it made me think that if it could be done, i would do it regularly. please help me to understand.

No you can't do behests on a crafting class. You won't get SP.
It was saying that he wants crafters and DoM/DoW to level at around the same pace. The same SP per hour. Previously crafters were able to get more SP per hour, and they were talking about lowering crafting, and or raising fighting mobs to be around the same.

I think ideally they want you to hit 50 at the same pace regardless of what you level. Not have one type of class level faster than another.

My understanding was that this only related to (Physical)EXP not SP... Might be wrong though.

If it relates to SP I'll probably stop crafting, it's a bit of a boring time sink at them moment so if they do impliment a SP reduction on crafting then I'll be giving it the body swerve. It's really a bit of a deal breaker.

YOu can do Behest on any class(DoW/M/H/L). However, if you are on a DoH/L class you will not receive SP. XP will still be rewarded in the same manner as if you were DoW/M of the same rank.
SP for DoH as such has not been lowered, but increased. I assume they may adjust it later, but for now it is balanced for he most part.

Correct. They were talking about XP not SP. It was a common tactic to craft to boost your Phy Lv high, which makes ranking up DoW/M easier.

They didn't lower DoH SP, they increased it.
