Party Search on FabulFollow

Hello Fabul,

I have read how no one uses the party search option, and I wonder why exactly? Since the recent patches and changes to group SP EVERYONE gets together to run leve's, and quite often I am sure that some are left in need of a party to join. So why not use the recruit party feature? For example, I can set up a recruitment for 7 other members rank 36-40 to do leve's at Camp Broken Water and even state the time that I would like to start. So why do people (excluding the obvious LS groups) sit and wait for parties to come along to join up with? In a vain effort I am going to start recruitments whenever I have leve's to do and this is an open invitation for people in need. Please give it a shot and don't blast me for trying, everyone should be in on the SP gains for doing leve's in a party.

I wish people would also use it for between leve resets. Really, besides behest(yawn), there isn't anything to do between leve resets if you want to get exp for your class... besides partying. But I never see anyone use the feature. I often try to start a party and recruit but no one ever joins. My guess is that no one even looks a the party feature to see I am trying to get one going.

You can even start putting together very useful SP parties in the 40's. It really is a very simple party search feature, so there's no excuse not to use it. However, it doesn't allow for very complex searching and I have noticed times when people cannot view my recruitment even though I posted it.

I've thought about using it more often on the Saronia server where my character resides, however the major issue I encounter is people not being able to join the party if I'm mid-battle. In most cases I'd be soloing while waiting for party members. It would be nice if there was a notice shown to the party leader that someone is attempting to join. Really the whole system needs an overhaul, especially if the developers continue to release party driven content!

In any case, keep up the good work. Everyone thought the world was flat, until they were proved wrong by one man with a vision.
